Ok, went to local bike night last tuesday n met a couple busa guys, and one guy with a black CBR Blackbird 1100. First comment outa this dudes mouth goes sumthin like "nice busa, too bad its so slow." before jumpin the gun n rearranging this guy's teeth, I asked just how fast his 'bird was. "does a 7.7 sec. 1/4mi, no turbo. All motor work." I looked this thing over well-he's not running drag-spec shocks front or rear, rotors are average, stock calipers, no airshifter, muzzy full exhaust, lowered maybe 1" and still running stock banana seat. Couldn't see any NOS lines from under seat-but even with a bottle and bored-out motor, doesn't seem likely this thing could hit 8.7sec 1/4mi. The guy wants to run me @ Union Grove for $$-i've run hi-10s last season with bike as-is. Waiting right now for new EK 520 Chain and strap for front to use when i track it. U can see the rest of my set-up below. Anyone think this guy is legit, or shud i go take his money?
