my thoughts as well, not someone here by the way. Hopefully i am buying a gen3 in north carolina this weekend, so i will have a bone stock bike to tinker with.

Heard from him tonight, said it worked great, rode for 35 miles or so with it and abs lights, everything seemed normal except abs gone, cruise activation/deactivation works as expected.
Time for mass production!
yep i have the female connectors now i will be adding
the final version won't have dealer mode or code clearing stuff built in but will have the male/female red 6 pin connector.
Heard from again today

Yah if you may both brakes and hold them locked
definitely if you plan to mash both front and rear brakes and hold them at lock while on slick surfaces, removing ABS would be ill advised.
Sadly who knows what the future holds....it may be one of those uninsurable things if removed....
All the tech out there is save us from ourselves I guess.

I’m sure if insurance companies found out what most of us do to our bikes they’d drop us pretty quickly.
Agree 100% and then some...
Years and years ago I was asked to bring my bike to the insurance broker before they'd insure it.....
