Another Overheat Mystery

Alright guys, my apologies for the late reply (unable to visit Hayabusa.org) and thanks for all your input.

Bottom line in all of this is that I think my problems were a combination of just not understanding how the cooling system works and a faulty fan switch.

She now lives.

Have removed working thermostat, just didn’t bother putting it back in after testing, and have put the fan on a switch.

Now, when running, she runs at half temp. When I come to a halt on a hot day, I simply put the fan on and she cools down nicely.

For a prolonged stop, I’d just kill the engine.

All good now, many thanks for your time :)

Use the search button, and search “dual fan mod” . I just wired fan switch to a toggle and mounted it on the top fairing.
I also read some peeps used a Honda Civic temperature switch; closes at lower temp and let’s fan come on earlier. Direct replacement for regular switch.
Also if your radiator is not full; switch won’t make and fan will never come on.

A guy commented on a utube video about a Suzuki I think Swift fan swith and thermostat and that should do it I will let you know how it work after I get it from the shop
