i just got them and mocked them up on my side mounted plate and they worked great i will try and get a pic for you soon the only thing i didnt like is the screw shaft is very long and very hard to trim without cutting the wires but cam be done.

they sell small plastic squares with sticky tape on one side & on the other it has a loop for you to run the wires through at any auto parts shop.I ran these under my chain guard towards the front,ran the wires up & back into the wire that powers the plate light orignallly with no contact from the chain & no problems.I will be buying one of these led gizmos to make it look better.(my license plate is mounted on its side off of the chain gaurd from st machine)
