Well, if you are going to be on the Gixxer, I'll saddle up the Concours. I wouldn't want you to be the only non-'Busa

I gotten home to late both Monday and Tuesday to order the undertail. So far, it looks like its going to be the GXXR...

I couldn't get the lights to work right. I'm positive I have a good hot wire coming to the rear of the bike. The mototeck tail has been a pain since day one. I'm just sick of having to screw with it. I'm going back to top gun. I had good luck with them in the past...

why are you replacing the undertail? is it something to do with the taillight flicker you had last week?

See what happens when you point out a problem?

But seriously, Sunday is a hike for Danny on a Gixxer set up for the track:laugh:

I'm still down for the ride on the 19th. Saturday I am riding with the mrs. and her SV.

I haven't been out an about, blew both fork seals last week and the parts arrived today. Should be out an about this weekend. Making sure all is good!

Great to hear you are up for the 19th!

Sorry about the fork seals.

Are you going to be on this Sunday's ride?

Wow!! I haven't been on here for a couple of months due to a new job taking all my time.
I was just telling the wife last night on my way home that I need to get a ride together. I was coming back from a long day......I drove down Shea Blvd to 87, took 87 up to Payson, then took 260 to Show Low, from Show Low down the 60 through Salt River Canyon to Globe then back home. WOW!!! What a ride THAT would be...Salt River Canyon is absolutely breath taking...and I was telling the wife that I've got to get people from the site together together to do that ride.

Then I jump on here this morning and see your ride Danny....I'm in!

We can try to do the longer ride I just drove another time ...trust me, it's a must!

Dan

Yeah, I'm still here...I haven't been riding much lately, so this ride is exactly what I need.

How have you and your wife been doin'? Been riding much?

I just got through reading this entire post..whew! my mind's outta breath:rofl:
I coach my son's Pop Warner team on Saturday, so I can only make it for the Sunday ride...Can the Sunday ride be up through Salt River....PLEEEEEEASE?
I really would like to make that ride before winter but I can't do it on Saturday, can we switch the days?

Thanks!

Dan

We're doing alright here. I'm riding, but nowhere near what I'd like. Chris isn't doing much riding at all, as she's working hard at some other projects.

With the weather improving, and a recent turn of events, I'll be doing a lot more riding.

Are you available for both days (18th and 19th)? Danny is planning a Salt River Canyon ride for one of the days, and then it's over to the west side for a Sedona run, and possibly beyond. Sounds just like what the doctor ordered, doesn't it?

Oops, late post.

Danny may want to switch days, so Sunday might be Salt River Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Wag are coming, so it would be great to send them off on the east side of the valley.

I think that the agenda will be finalized by early next week. Regardless, it will be good to ride with you again. Hopefully we'll have a good turnout.

I would rather finish off on the West side :please: I have a longer ride home, almost seven fiddy

I hear you on that. I asked Danny about the arrangement, and he said that you might be leaving on Monday morning. Are you leaving Sunday?

The west side run is looking like a 500+ mile day (not counting return to the valley).

I think we need to find out what everyone's comfort level is for both days. There is no way that I'd be alright with seeing anyone push themselves and experience any undue fatigue. That would just be begging for something bad to happen.

So what we need to do is balance the ride, and have end-points that land you on the west side, and Mr. and Mrs. Wag on the east side. UR IT needs the east side run to be on Sunday. Hmmm...What route do you want to take out of AZ? I-10 or 40?

I'm just stirring the pot

I don't care which day we do what, or how many miles we ride...the more the BETTER. I will get there sometime on Friday, I will probably leave at the end of the Sunday ride...wherever that may be.

My ride home from the Phoenix area is just under 750 miles...I would like to do a couple of hundred of that Sunday night, then get a room and finish the trip home on Monday. If the Sunday ride runs longer than expected...no biggie, I'll just do the whole seven fiddy on Monday

If one of the days is going to be considerably longer than the other, I would prefer to do the long day on Saturday, but like I said before...the more miles the BETTER

LET'S GO AND EXPLORE ARIZONA :beerchug:
