I have a full Yoshi TRS system , PCIII USB and just had my bike Dyno'd and custom mapped and my bike still backfired a little . But it also dyno'd at 163 RWH .
I rode my bike for over 200 miles w/out the PC usb with no back fire at all. Bike ran fine, All the pc does is fine tune the fuel ask JC. With the PC and custom map gained only about 3 or 4 horses but the smootheness was a big plus. still no back fire at all even from redline all the way down to idle..Take and unplug the pc first like everyone says and see if it stops simple and free. My bike I can lug in top gear all the way down to 1500 or 2000 and twist the throttle and pull away with no stumbles hesataion or anything..
I talked with my dealer about it last night. They are thinking I may have some injector problems. Its gonna have to wait a while for the to look at it since we're supposed to get 9 inches of snow today!
Hey JC I think you and I have covered this ground before. I will go back and see if I can find that thread. Hes not talking about adjusting the TPS. Hes talking about seting the PC to recognize the TPS numbers.
Try this. Hook up lap top to PC with 9 volt adapter. Open PC program and click on utilites and the adjust tps. Box opens and says closed throttle with throttle closed click on closed throttle open throttle to WO now click full throttle and OK. Your done. If I got this right the PC now knows where the throttle is based on those numbers.
If I got this wrong shoot me.

hey bullet train I just put a new akra pipe on my 10 and when I installed the power commander that was supposed to have a custom map installed from ivan's it would not run right and the fuel injection light would stay on, same with the tre. I have since removed both and the bike seems to run just fine with the pipe and no power comander. I need to have it dynoed with the pipe though just to get a comparison against my stock numbers of 149 hp.
