Brakes

Be careful with promises that the magic upgrade from a box will make performance better or make one safer. The tires govern the true minimum stopping distance, and one's braking technique and response time are the most critical aspects of emergency stopping. Make sure and critically analyze all of these items.
Agreed. I have brand new Angel GT II tires and I believe my technique is at least decent. I've been riding for 50 years and while I may be new to Busas I'm not new to riding.

No, not those, and never use race pads on the street, as race pads need to stay hot to bite correctly.
www.schintzracing.com
has the Ebc Extreme Pro pads, as they must say Extreme Pro to be them.
I'de also check Core-Moto's brake line prices, as Spiegler has gotten Expensive!!
Right, I didn't catch the "race" part of those pads...

Good advice..

OK, pads are not so easy. Tried ordering from Schnitz and they apparently have the wrong part number for the front (and the part number they gave me is not an ebc part number). They also don't have the rear. EBC is closed Friday so I can't find out what the right part number is. @#$!!!

No idea
I would confirm with Ebc before I ordered...and good luck with that, unless you can get them on the phone.
If not, I'de go with Veshra.
They are a Japanese company and they make great brake pads.
They have a new street/race pad they claim doesn't need to be kept hot, and that it is great for aggressive street riding.
I've been wanting to try them on the '18 1k or my '03 1k.

I have these in my garage for when I need them...

The extreme pros offer greater friction when hot and more stopping power with less lever pressure, but they have less initial bite than the HH compound. Good for trail braking but the E.P. compound will feel less powerful at a street speed coming to a regular stop with low to moderate brake pressure. I run the extreme pros and love them but the less initial bite is something to keep in mind if you are used to a pad with lots of initial bite.

cheers
