Brand me a trader

He's my boo bear. “I will love him and squeeze him and call him George”.

Im putting the deposit on it in the morning. Looking at flights for Friday and Saturday.

You did the right thing. I sold my busa 3 years ago and I still hang out here...even after I bought a harley

Your a good man and dad Charlie. Family always come first.
Glad your going to hang about here on the org.

I remember when you joined, and I've always enjoyed your posts and banter.

Anyway good luck for the future.

You know something Charlie... I was pretty down earlier about you selling the busa and on top of that, now you can't show me some good routes to ride, like we had planned...

But then, Me and Card came up with a great idea... You can knock the dust off the old 10 or 21 speed bicycle (if you don't have one, I got one for ya....21 Speed HUFFY...:beerchug:) I can tie a rope from the busa to the Huffy and pull you around ( I got some gear too, Nobody will know its you:laugh:)... you can just signal me in my mirrors which way to go.......Just like riding a busa...

BTW.... That will be $5, I will just keep track and get it when I get there... Im sure I will have to think of something else for you by then....

family first and everything else get's in line behind us. who knows? you may find a good used suburban beater that would give you the opportunity to keep the bike.:laugh:

Might be a little late to get in on this. But If it were me, why not sell the truck get a nice big suv, and give it to the wife, sell her Flex and buy your self a beater and keep the bike. This way you get rid of payments, will have lower insurance and get to keep your bike. Dont get me wrong utting your family first gains much respect from me and others, Lord knows I have given up a lot of toys when my little one came along. Hope it all works out soon, and you get back on 2 wheels.

Cant get rid of her Flex. too far upside down on it.. I sold the bike and my truck, blanca is hooking me up with a great deal on an 06 expedition. Theres pictures of it in this thread and I just put down a deposit.

No matter what happens with the Gen 3 I hope its HUGE. And then all the traitors that jumped ship will have to try to sell their no-resale-valued ZX14's to get one. Then the market will be flooded with 2 year old zx14s with 5K miles on them, and I'll snatch one up for like $5K... Can't wait....

I just spoke to my service mgr regarding spark plug issues with the 5.4.
He said as long as you change them before 50k you'll be fine. What happens is spark plug protrudes down into cylinder. Due to this carbon builds up on threads and it acts like a nut. When you go to remove plug the 'carbon nut' tightens up and plug can snap off creating a problem. What we do here is first decarbonize the engine and our techs have a special tool they use to remove the plugs. Even on ones left in forever with this method described above he says they are 99.9% successful getting them out without breakage. He will be fine.

Hey it's something I had not heard of so I want to make sure it is not really a major major problem.
Small concern and now that we know he can address it before it becomes one.

When he gets here we will discuss some ford ESP warranties with him if he wants some peace of mind.
He will have option to purchase that at dealer cost, no markup.
