Brock's CT Series - Who Has One?

I only have 1or2 pics from loring. If someone would post them that would be great.I am the lamest internet wannabe out there:poke:.I cannot post a pic to save my life,I have tried??? As far as a sound clip goes:rofl::rofl::rofl::laugh::whistle:If you need to hear a sound clip you just do not get it, J/K.It is the perfect amount of sound, not to loud but you can hear it coming. It is certainly not megaphone loud or it would of been sold by now.It sounds like a refined version of my v-max(gen1, ufo duels)with out the drag strip sound, more ferrari less chevelle.
In reality I have not heard it being ridden, but sounds good from the seat. If any one was at loring maybe they could post up their impressions.Actually my wife did shoot some movies with the camera, terriable footage, but some ok sound. Can that be emailed?told you I don't have a clue.
Thanks, Goldenchild it was a great experience. The sense of community is too be experienced, best of the best. The RUSH(intended) was not bad either.
09 g/s busa, yeah it is the duel system.I would imagine the single is slightly louder, crisper?
The workmanship of this system can simply not be improved upon. belongs in a museum.I would not have the bike any other way, love it! Well.... maybe with a spinny thing further up the pipe.Hmmmm...

Well I took the plunge and purchased the CT single canister Ti system. I have a BMC Race filter coming as well. Next up Boost By Smith ECM Programer to set things right once it's all installed.

any news here?
I'm also interested in replacing my full Ti, for the Brocks CT ....
not that I 'm not happy with my current setup, but those duals look really great!!!

I have the duals on order, along with pc III and BMC, UPS says they will arrive tomorrow. I'll get some pics right out of the box and then on the bike, i will try to get a sound clip, but can't make any promises on that, don't think the mic on my camera is worth a flip! But anyone in the Dallas area that is interested pm me and we can get togeather for an in person.

I have the single CT system on my '08. I've been riding it with a tune from another similar bike. I'm using Petrik's software and Smithabusa's interface for tuning. I've been taking it easy until I get the custom Johnny Cheese dyno tune on Sept 19th. I'll be running the BMC race filter and a 41 tooth rear sprocket (set-up for the Texas Mile in Oct).

I can tell you that it sounds great, it's light as a feather, and it's not too loud. My buddy has a ZX-14 with a Tsukigi cannon that is WAY louder.

I'll post up the results after the tune. I'll also try and get a video on the dyno.

Rich,

Can't wait to see/hear your results. You'll have a blast!

Maybe I can get a kitchen pass to come out and help you guys for a day at the Mile. Good luck, have fun, and go FAST!!! :beerchug:

Got mine installed, but internet at the house is down so i can only put up one or two pics here at work without bringing the IT guys down on me. I'll get some more up Saturday.

They really are feather light, shipped weight of the system, PC III, and BMC, was 20 lbs. and the sound is awsome, not too loud, and alot deeper then the stock cans.

Due to the weather issues around the Dallas area i haven't gotten a chance to test ride, and i am heading out of town with work for the next couple days, but when i get he chance i'll do a right up and review of it all. Also going to try to make it out to high 5 on thursday for those in the area that would be interested.

I've heard the exhaust note from these systems and the sound was just right IMO. I really liked the way it sounded. Yesterday while I was hanging out at the Brock's stand at Atco I picked up the single can system and was really amazed how light the exhaust system is. The quality of this system was so good that I really couldn't think of anyway to improve things. This is very rare for me because even the Akra system I had on my Gen 1 had room for improvement. Yea these aren't the cheapest systems on the market but I don't think that was their focus.

btw, for my application, if I had the money I would have bought the Tiwinder on the spot. I think a roll of charmin toilet paper is heavier than the whole system.

Thanks for the pics guys, they ALL look great... :beerchug::

02spool,

Don't forget to post up how fast you went... :super::super:

Only went 206.5 twice :poke:(J/K),all 4 runs over 200! Never get tired of saying that:laugh: I am glad the powers that be, threw us a bunch of tailwind, did not expect those #
On another note,Thanks and credit due for pics #3 & 4 to Bob Dill, one of the photographers gracious enough to share his eye with all the racers!

Commuta, well said I found this to also be the case. How do you improve on this set-up?Was so different(the attraction for me) that it still did not sit right with me until a week after installing it.Now I can't imagine it otherwise.
What they say about first impressions, proven true to me,yet again!
If you plan to have the bike forever or at least a very long time, the cost quickly becomes less relavent over the long run, atleast using my logic.???
That said if I did not get it at sale price,I would be sporting a diff. flavor.:laugh:Timing, its all about timing!:cheerleader:
