Dayum, I hope the word we have on his condition is the worst case scenerio and that things turn out like WE want them to. Heal quickly...
God Speed Davehold on to yer asses....
fukk I hate things sometimes.
Dave was T-boned.
was not his Fault.
Damage to leg,arm,hand,head.
He may lose that left hand.
His wife is in shock.
He has 30 friends at the hospital with him.
He is in the operating room as we speak.
Sorry this is in point by point form, I'm a bit shakin' by this.
saddletramp is going to do the best he can to keep me up to date, but
he's having a hard time as well.... what a great friend.
I have some Dave stories to share...provided by his mate.(Later, when he's out of danger)
WOW. this not good.... a need a little break... be back in a
minute.
We need someone to be the eyes and ears on this situation with Dave... There are no words for this group that we can say that will make this any easier. We need to stay focused and be prepared and responsive to his needs as well as his family. His outcome is so far out of our control that it makes the situation just that much more frustrating. When the call for help goes out we need to be open and available to the families needs. A call, a note, an email will probably provide more comfort than anything else... Pray without ceasing comes to mind while we wait for news of the surgery and his status. As some of you may know. (or not)
Iam a mate of daves. Just got a phone call to say hes been in a really bad accident.
I head it on the radio about an hour ago.
Didn't know he was involved.
On my way to the hospital
