Dave, Just saw this...Thank you for everything you do - you are a great human bieng and deserve the best - not this. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Mrs. Busa Man!
That's horrible news. I am hoping for the best during surgery and recovery.
We need someone to be the eyes and ears on this situation with Dave... There are no words for this group that we can say that will make this any easier. We need to stay focused and be prepared and responsive to his needs as well as his family. His outcome is so far out of our control that it makes the situation just that much more frustrating. When the call for help goes out we need to be open and available to the families needs. A call, a note, an email will probably provide more comfort than anything else... Pray without ceasing comes to mind while we wait for news of the surgery and his status.

Unbelievable...I'm new to the board (getting Busa next month), but I have seen that there are a lot of quality people on here and willing to help others (like Dave).
I don't know Dave (haven't conversed w/ him here) but any guy that donated his time and effort to sick children is a hero in my book.
I believe a ways back that RSD had an accident of his own. I hope Dave pulls through with flying colors and he will tell stories about it someday. I'm sure everyone is saying a prayer for him tonight.

Just rifled through the posts and read the awful news. I know it doesn't do any good to get pissed off about the situation, but if some cage driver T-boned him and was at fault...don't even want to go there. If the individual was drunk...we may need to contribute to fly a professional over to Ireland.
