Busa VS 1300+RWHP Supra

No chance at all. If the guy spent enough $$ to get 1300rwhp, he will have spent the $$ to be able to use it and he knows how to drive. Otherwise that car wouldn't be on the road for long. It would be fun tho.
Not to jack your thread but I have a friendly "get together" with a 2006 Lambo Gallardo in the spring as soon as I get the bike back together. It will be on film. We are planning a 3 mile run.

You figure 850rwhp to run side-by-side with a stock BUSA 60-160mph. Anything past that and the car will start to pull. YOu need at least 300+rwhp to run with a car like that if not more.
Be careful if you do race though. We had a guy in Cleveland do a similar race and the Supra lost control totalling the car and taking out the BUSA rider also...

3-miles is a bad idea.
I don't know your mods but you will be maxed out at about 1.5-miles. You are only giving him time to catch you past that. You will jump way out and then he will slowly come back around you approx 2.5 into the race if he's stock. I hope you have mods and the gearing to support it...

Will have a 1397/stg 2 cams/port polished head/18-43 gearing. Guy is a good friend of mine. It is just for fun. Top Speed on the lambo is 196mph. He has no chance on a short race. This is primarily for the video.

I would try 18/40 since you have the power to pull it. You are going to jump out like crazy with those mods anyway so you need more TOP END to continue pulling away (make him cry for you to stop).
I would gear it for 200 or more unless you are running a 190/55 tire...

You can take him no problem. When you get up to the line and just before the tree starts changing, throw a brick through his windshield. Seriously.
Based on the gearing calculator that Omar posted up. With a 55 series tire the calculated top speed is 217. afraid your estimates are off unless the rider is total crap that the bike's tuning is even more crap. That vid with the 865rwhp supercharged viper against nickslicks crew had the viper barely walking danno on his stocker (running rich) busa and gar's piped '99 copper was able to keep a wheel in front most of the run. Nickslicks 1397 and a big bore zx-12 crushed the car. I recall from the king of the streets dvd clips where dana's virtual works supra and nicks busa on spray (250rwhp) were neck and neck till the car ran out of gear at 160mph (drag setup). BIG DRAMA happened afterwords because the supra guys tried claiming the car was just making 900rwhp for the run when it was well known to make close to 1200. They even show comparsion footage with a 800rwhp nos viper getting stomped by nick's bike. I know they're 2 different cars but theres no way 100hp in car will make up a difference like that.NO! It takes a 800 hp 3000 lb car to beat a mildly moded busa. You, have no chance unless his driving is absolutely horrible. Dont bet pink slips.Maybe it would take a 875 hp car to beat your bike.
So ya to the topic starter, i gotta agree 222rwhp isn't gonna be enough against a supra making that much. Could run for fun but i'd be afraid of getting showered with oil and parts if that car pukes. Ya that car will get you but it won't be far enough ahead for you to do something if it pukes and god help you if it sends parts or, if it loses control, itself in your path.
I don't really pay attention to these roll on runs anymore really. In the end in terms of street a well done turbo busa has proven to be king be it at maxton/texas mile or on the road against anything the car guys could show. Besides i'm more like the tokyo highway guys in the sense the guy that wins is the one that leaves who they're racing behind and out of site. Good practice if any cops are watching. So far i haven't met a car that can zip around traffic or bends as good as me let along keep hammering on the engine at high speeds. Gotta love sportbike reliability.
