You found a better list, the one I found I had to click on each gov to see their party affiliation one so I forgot one. Thanks for spotting that. I honestly don't see it as an issure of Democrat or Republican or Conservative or Liberal, it is a greed issue and where there is greed there is corruption. You see it in every party. They benefit from the confusion and misinformation and unrest that we see in the media. It keeps us occupied while they do what will line their pockets. Big corporate power Pisses on us while Washington tells us it is raining and saying they will go look for an umbrella.
CA votes as one of the most "liberal" states in the union.. has nothing to do with their affection for a Gov that is a star..
I lived in CA for a number of years and the state really only has one problem.. too many freeloaders... you can have a conservative or liberal view as long as you carry your own weight? who the hell cares? you produce, you add to the economy... is that right? then only the way the income is spent is at stake.. Instead, the fight is over how the credit is spent.. now the conservative/liberal views do play a part.. liberal give aways and conservative protectionism become important and not so much just political views.. (not sure that came out right)
I have never met so many scammers in my life as I did in CA.. So many trying to make so much off so little work.. I about pe'ed my pants laughing at the commercial where they discuss how "Californians work" showing board meetings (surfers) etc.. They then lay the cost of running the state on big biz and then wonder why the biz leaves the state if possible.. now that the big tax payers are going going gone?

Again I agree with you and your statements here. But again this goes back to UNEDUCATED voting basicly. We vote for a Nice name, we vote because so-n-so is this party, we vote because this person gave me a tax credit once, We vote because the media says this person is the right person. Very few people do there homework on the candidates to see who they really are and who they really work for. This is where change needs to start. Look at ex governer Blegoivich (sp) from Illinois. His campaign promise to fight corruption all over the news. But people just took that and ran with it with out ever checking his TRUE background. Just one example ntohing more. but there are more out there.

Immigrants, would we have been able to afford to build this bubble without using cheap undocumented laborers? When we began the residential/commercial boom back around 2000, I remember ALL of the "good old American boys" with a pick up truck full of immigrants. Everyone got fat on the backs of our illegal workers. My job sites looked like another country had taken over. Greed got us here. Public education got us here. Our elected officials got us here. Our unelected officials got us here.
So whats left to do while our sore bleeding A$$es heal. Sure as he|| don't need anymore residential or commercial developments. Can't consume our way out of this. What is North America's next big "ad"-venture to lead us into our next sink hole. No more sacrificial rabbits in the hat? I don't mean to ribble rabble about it, I'm just disgusted and ashamed of our leaders and with myself. What doesn't kill you has to turn around and make another pass at it.

I think we need some peeps that aren't polititions. More like some engineers, managers, & specialists, or simply smart & motivated. Peeps that only talk out of one side of their mouths, and aren't paid for already by their backers. Unfortunately, you don't see them on the ballots.

because they don't have the money to buy the ballot We should vote for a salary cap for elected officials and if any member of the govt. local or otherwise wants a raise we should have the vote so we can base it on performance like every other business.
If you don't hit your numbers for the year or meet the expectations that you set when you were elected you aren't eligible for re-election and you are replaced. if your term is two years you get a write up the first year and the next year your out and cannot come back unless you have effectively achieved your goals. Your business plan must already be done and presented to the public prior to even being considered for a spot on the ballot. The reason for this is to have a realistic set expectation to hold you to in writing. This way you can't change your mind.
The vote is majority rules no senators or congressmen or congresswomen no district BS we the people all vote and that's it no repeal no argument you didn't do the job you signed up for we find someone that can.
