Counterbalancer adjustments on Gen 3??

So while on a long trip down a rabbit whole of youtube last night I came across a video on a GEN2 with this adjustment being performed. Has anyone ventured down this path yet on their GEN3? If so how far out was it?

Small adjustments can be made just don't make it too tight.
