My apologies... I thought random thoughts, even political ones, came under the definition of random thoughts... what is the definition of random? Does the word random exclude certain areas of discussion?

I have had insults said to me a number of times here... so what... its what certain people here have a desire to say to people in general.

My Busa is back together... just needs a license plate as the chassis is from out of state. California want to check your VIN before you get a plate for it. That means it has to go on a trailer to the DMV.

The thread is about BlueBacon being debt free which has nothing to do with politics.

You will never be debt free in a state with property taxes. 3 years of no payment on property taxes in California and the tax assessor takes your house and sells it for taxes. A lot of people pay 6 to 10K a year here in middle class neighborhoods. ( $500+ a month ) Congrats if you don't live in California, or, if you do you have tax exempt status like some of our disabled veterans do. If you bought your house when prices were low ( 90s ) then prop 13 is protecting you from the tax county assessor with a 2% annual increase in property tax on a yearly basis. This state's legislators try to undermine prop 13 every chance they get so they can collect more tax money and spend it on....

You insult others just about every time you post. Are you saying you use the term libtard affectionately? When you asked me if I was a child molester, were you just interested in my life? You can't act like that and not have consequences.
Best thing about financial independence? Being able to stay retired and not have to deal directly with people like you every day.

In one of Rojo's old thread restores, Sixer posted that he wouldn't mind seeing Hilary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi swinging from the end of a rope. That's at least as bad as Ottofish's joke about the assassination attempt on Trump, for which he was suspended. This in mind, pardon me, but if the rules around here are too bent and twisted to religiously follow, I'll take my chances. Sometimes a member feels a need to respond to a post directly. That has to be in that thread. The trick is to get back on subject within a few posts.

Not true. Property taxes are not a debt, they're a tax on goods and real estate, paid in advance. Goods we already own, yes, but it takes money for infrastructure in society. Schools, roads, sanitation...civilization. We get that you don't trust government, just don't expect everyone else to feel the same.
