It’s not income level. There is a lot of poverty in rural areas and money in inner cities. It’s the philosophy of caring for one another. Successful landlords care about their tenants just like successful governments care about the truly needy. There will always be people trying to take advantage. It’s human nature.
Some conservatives are pushing this landslide nonsense in an effort to make the people with the opposite philosophy go away, in their mind. Guess what, it’s only in your deranged mind.
We’re here and we’re not going anywhere.

I recall waaay back when I first joined the military, looking ahead at my financial future wasn't even a thought.....(never thought I'd live as long as I have).

I lived in the single quarters and didn't have a car for the first few years I served although I had a couple motorcycles but they were peanuts to insure and operate in those days....and storage was free on the base....

But, I was a skin-flint and lived very modestly and saved all my money, I didn't smoke or drink and I never chased fast women.

When I met the wife, she was also serving and was pretty frugal as well so combined we saved our money...then kids came along and we wanted to give them a good, memorable life so we threw caution to the wind and lived life....

Roll around to a few years ago and we were able to pay everything off due to some crafty money management and frugal living.....now we live comfortably and are in a good financial position to help our kids and grandkids out.....

I bought my Hayabusa used with the intent that if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be out that much....and once I found out I liked it, I also liked the bike and decided that buying a new one made little to no sense.....

It is interesting that you can't make a contradictory point about Kamala winning in the states that require no ID to vote. So, I will ask again... what if all states required ID to vote? Then what would the map look like? You don't have to answer that... so, what's the point?

I just heard Kamala say she was unqualified to be president anyway... That stands to reason when she covers for several years the real condition of dementia Joe and the unfit for duty status he was in while occupying the WH.

If you just heard Kamala say that she was unqualified to be president, it shouldn't be that difficult to post a vide of her saying that. Otherwise I will just consider it another lie from a trump cult member. But by now, we're all pretty used to hearing a lot of lies from the pathologically lying trump's cult members.

I've read every post here. But when people start posting what appears to be lies, I have to question them. It would be nice if they could keep the lies in the political sections, but when they don't do that, I'm here for them.

Well then... let's ignore the elephant in the room that is our lives. Politics is where policies written into to law come from.... and policies have a direct impact on our lives though they might seem far removed from our physical existence.

As far as liars go... everyone lies... some more than others and on some subjects more than others. Its up to you to sort it out... not point your finger at people that pass information along because the source seemed credible regardless of the reality of the circumstance.

no.......I'd say something more like a person who is sick of political rhetoric being injected into each and every thread outside the politics section....

It is beginning to be problematic and when it starts driving away regular posters.....what do we have left?

Cap even went to lengths to make the politics thread a kind of standalone entity which new posts don't show up in the "what's new" module...

The fight against thread political bleed through is growing....

I couldn't agree more. I learnt a long time ago that at family get togethers there were two things we never talked about. Unions and politics and because of that we never had any arguments. Everyone got along and we always had a great time. This site has been around for over 24 years and I'm happy to say that I've been here for over 22 of them. We have had a lot of members come and go and we have also lost many friends. This site has always been a great place to hang out on and discuss the one thing we all have in common. The love for the mity Busa.
There are so many threads, post, comments, sub forums and anything else you want to call them that have gone sideways and we lose vital information. So can we please try and do one thing. KEEP ON TRACK WITH WHAT THE TREADS WERE MEANT TO BE......


CONGRATULATIONS BLUEBACON on getting your house paid off and being debt free.

This is what you said, word for word: "I just heard Kamala say she was unqualified to be president anyway". And it appears that it was a lie. If you heard her say it, you could just post the video or audio recording. But you are a liar. Plain and simple. You have zero credibility in my eyes.

I'm not a moderator, but have been around here for 21 years and seen the place almost shut down for cost and/or politics. Not a good time and hence the reason there is a separate section for political and non-bike related discussions. Not directed at anyone specifically, but it is not about keeping this thread on topic . . . more so all threads on topic. As said, it is provided as a pleasure for the discussion of things related to the Busa. There is a good bit of self-moderation that goes on here, as well, that should be paid attention to. I'd like this place to stay around as long as possible.
