Smh... you better sell that puppy the market is crazy right now least around me that is ... 4k won't get you a scooter lol. Gen 1 or gen 2 could beat it yes but to say it would smash the poo out of it is a lil much once gen 3 is opened up its gonna be the best of the bunch but I do miss my 99 copper 08 orange not so much I was looking for another 99 but I stole the gen 3 so I'm a happy camper!

I'd say the gen 3 is a decent bike and as capable as any other Hayabusa-more so when it gets opened up...it has all the electronic suite we've been wanting, it has updated and modern looks...

.........and is still recognizable as a Hayabusa...that to me is a win-win....

I do say Suzuki went the easy route and choked it out too much to meet Euro 5. I think they could have spent a bit more effort and brought it out ready to dominate and still meet Euro 5...they have the technology and experience....

That is a sad thing to think of....more competition is good....winning by default is not good form.

Found a few of them. I'm not in the market for another bike at this time. My gen2 just sits as it is. I've put about 4 miles on it in the last year and a half lol

if u remember, mr kawaski gasden was hitting mids 10s on a busa. what he can do vs what he will do will probably be much different. drag racing is still drag racing, pro stock guys just took it to the next level. he still knows the tree and pros know how to make adjustments based on what a machine or track is giving them. you are right, skills do fade but doesn’t mean they can’t come back quickly.

Pro Stock runs a pro tree, not a bracket tree, but performance against the tree has no bearing on the e.t. anyway. Drag racing isn't drag racing ... Pro, Heads-up, grudge, index, bracket, stock class, all different. Being good with one format and one bike platform doesn't automatically make you excellent with another. My point is these bikes will do better than they did in the original video, not that the riders are bad. I'm not saying I'm the guy to beat them, but the bikes can and will do better. This video makes my point pretty well.
