dummy with a Hummer

that sucks. I would really like to get a H1 but way to much $$$$$$$$. I do like the looks of the H2 but I am thinking of getting a H3.

H2 = Chevy Silverado. Built on the same chassis. H3 = Chevy Colorado. Same as before. Neither built for the rough stuff.

The only thing he is guilty of is buying the hype. As others have factually stated the Hummer is nothing more than an overpriced Silverado with an ugly body on it. I HAD a Silverado and despite what the Chevy guys quotes and numbers say that truck was a certified POS. The Hummer in the Video is the same thing. if all you're gonna do is take the kids to the mall and cut through a grass field then they're OK. Anything more than that you'll need a real truck. I stomached the Chevy for 18 months until i couldn't stand it anymore then i went back to a real truck. My Dodge. before the rest of you start to squaller, hear this. 3 weeks after I got my Dodge I had a job up in Milton Fl. I arrived and saw that the dummy delivering the forklift got it stuck in the clay road and left it there. I hooked my 1/2 ton 4X4 Dodge with the hemi up to the 10,000 lb. stuck to the axle forklift. Not only did I yank it out effortlessly I also drug it the remaining 150 feet to the building. I had to reposition my chains to get it up the hump onto the buildings slab and the owner in his new Ford F150 4X4 wanted to play. Not only did he not move the forklift, he almost got himself stuck! Long story short ... Chevy trucks don't work hard enough for me, Ford don't either. Hummers .... please

as a side note, I put my 10K lb. forklift on my 3500 lb. trailer and haul it all over central florida without the first problem. My Chevy tried but wasn't truck enough to do it. About 50 miles was all I could do in it for fear of the truck crapping out on me. I know this is borderline threadjacking but I wanted to explain why Its not really the owners fault. I'll be he has since sold that POS and got something REAL! Now the H1 ... heh heh heh  Yeah Baby!!

ROTFLMAO!!
Yeah ive worked on a few of those H2s ...JUNK! Definately a 'joe 6 pack' 4x4 and not made for the real thing.

I gotta say that even though it broke (what do you expect, it is a gm) its nice to see someone using a Hummer for what its made for. Ive never seen a dirty Hummer or a Hummer off road. All i ever see are buisness people or soccer moms driving around town, i wanna see someone take one through the mud!

Without spending $100K on an original Hummer, what off the showroom floor 4X4 in the $30 to $50K range is built for the rough stuff?
Jeep wrangler would be the best bet for the money and very capable they have started installing push button lockers front and read as an option now. and I believe there are more aftermarket parts then ya can shake a stick at

I'd put my truck up against it. It may have me beat on clearance but that's the ONLY thing it has more of. $ 1500 and it won't have an advantage anywhere
