Just how am I in a hole? You don't get it do you? You lost this round. Get over it, move on.

You can't show where you've gotten over me one time. And go back to school. Saying you're looking stupid is not calling you stupid.

You've done nothing in this thread but run your keyboard in the ground and provided nothing. I'm not whining or mumbling anything. I've been clear and to the point. Show me. I've used this product. I understand the physics at work.

I'm saying man up and prove those of us with experience in this area wrong. You're called out. Bring it, lets see your proof. You've run out of talent when you need it most. Or should I stoop to your level with actual insults and smilies?

Sounds to me like y'all are arguing with the substitute math teacher about you English homework. And didn't you ever learn that teachers are never wrong! ???

Mount you a set of shinko's,throw in some beads and add a set of chinese knock galfer rotors and Spies couldn't hang with you in the twisties.

 Don't forget the Chinese knock off shorty levers and DOT 2 fluid. Dot 2 is gotta be better than four, it's real close to being number 1!

Someone I respect wrote said:
Personally, I have never had a tire that needed to be rebalanced during it's life cycle as long as the weights stay in place. I always mark the rim with the amount of weight as well as the spot so I can simply replace the weight in case it gets dislodged. I did throw a wheel weight once at a buck fifty or so and it shook my mouth guard out before I could get slowed down to a moderate shake.

If you never experience any vibration in the bike then I wouldn't worry about balance.
I think this is the best post yet why someone should consider using Dynabeads. This rider could have lost control and crashed from losing a wheel weight!

I have a question...

Do DynaBeads work?

Glad this didn't get political.

Anonymous: He Mitt, Newt and Rick, there is this great new product that shows hope.
Romney: What is it?
Anonymous: They are called Dyna Beads, they help balance things.
Romney: Looks good. We can buy the company, shut down the factories, move production to China next to my lead weight factory and make a ton of money.
Gingrich, Paul and Perry: Hey if it is gonna make us money, let’s go for it.

A few days later Obama unveils his new balancing plan.

Obama: The use of Dyna Beads, by most average everyday people will help balance things out. Although a bit more expensive, the end result will be beneficial.
Palin: No thank you Mr. President, I’ll keep my old fashion lead weights.
Romney: Obama is out of touch with what Americans need for balancing! By the way, how much did I make on these things?
Paul: Just another high cost spending plan with no real benefit.
Trump: How can the President make such a proposal, every American doesn’t need this? Oh and here is my birth certificate to prove I am an American.
Perry: These won’t help the American people, they are made in China
Brewer: I only stuck my finger in his face because the way he used Dyna Beads was threatening to me.
Palin: No thank you Mr. President, I’ll keep my old fashion lead weights.
Gingrich: I don’t care if they work for everyday riding, I can’t back it.
Santorum: This is yet another example of the government trying to force things on us. I fear the use of these beads will only lead to riding for pleasure.

Wow after seven pages only Ketchmi has tried them with negative results? I'll go aganst the flow. My experience was not positive.

I had NEVER heard anything negative about dynabeads. So the day before I was leaving to go on a road trip on my FJR back in 2008 I had a set of Michelin Road Pilots mounted at a local dealership with the appropriate amount of dynabeads. I never got above 55mph on the way home, which was maybe four miles.

The next day when I leave out about 40miles into the trip I kick up to about 75mph and the vibration was terrible, the faster you went the worse it got. Stoped in Longview at the Yamaha shop they took them off and balanced them while leaving the beads in (at my request). It got better, but the vibration was still there it just started later, at about 100.

I did notice on the inside of the tires before they where mounted there were divits or crosshatch designs moulded into the carcas of the tire. Didn't know if that had anything to do with the vibration, possibly causing the beads to bounce around. I spent a lot of time on the phone with the folks at Innovative Balancing trying to figure out the problem, they where very patient and tried to help but the problem never went away. I had the beads removed and balanced the tires, problem solved.

Later I tried them in my M109R with both the stock wheels and wider wheels. The results where better but still not great. It kept me from having to put weights on my chrome wheels which is what I was after but in no way was it as smooth as when they where balanced with lead.

I also have a No Mar tire machine and a balancer now and would love to just dump the beads in as I do for my brother in law who loves them. If the work for you I'm happy for you, their just not for me.

As it turns out Motorcycle Consumer News tested them in June of 2006 and they where not impressed with them either.

JMO YMMV

Ok, I just can't help myself:

Obama: "It is every American's right to have balanced tires; therefore, I am announcing an new program to ensure ALL Americans, not just the rich, have access to Dynabeads. The goverment will make free access to Dynabeads part of every insurance program. All Americans will be required to purchase dynabead-included insurance plans, whether they have a vehicle or not; if not, those Americans will receive a cash-payment equal to the cost of the beads, because it should be 'fair' and 'balanced' (pun intended) for ALL Americans"

Pelosi: "Those evil Republicans don't want everyone to have dynabeads, but we will make sure that the rich pay their fair share so everyone can enjoy their benefits"

I could go on and on with this all day....

I am still really confused if they are worth it!! But I am now sure that it is Obama's Fault!!!! And I wanna try them!:banghead:

I wonder if thats why they went to smaller beads and coated ceramic instead of uncoated and the steel beads... thanks for that finally a possible bad outcome from someone. Thanks gives me more to look into.

I have not used dynabeads, and will not because the tire co. say not to. Check Dunlop site, if some one should know it would be them!

I would never run beads in my tires, simply for the fact of the mess they would make at every tire change. I would hate to have 1000's of these tiny beads all over my garage floor. Also what happens when the front tire stops during a wheelie then gets accelerated from 0 to 80 in 1/10 of a second???

From DYNABEADS own website.

"We strongly advise against using Dyna Beads in any vehicle used for racing, for any application involving cornering at high speeds, or in tires placed under high acceleration beyond normal highway use. (drag racing, etc)"

Guess that kinda settles it eh?

Apparently some of you who had heart flutter when I questioned how the bike would react at performance levels with #12 bird shot in the tires missed or ignored blanca's post above.

Unless you are brain dead this warning from the dyna beads website should tell you everything you should know before installing this product into a motorcycle tire with blazing speeds that will push the envelope to near 200 mph and pull your arms from their sockets while doing so.

However, I can guarantee there will be one Einstein who will argue that he has been 170mph and is still alive so this warning means nothing!

However, if you never exceed the speed limit and your throttle never sees the stop, these little round nugets apparently work just fine!
