F150 truck tries to run biker off the road, then chases biker!

Keith your were right in your first post. The only reason rider did not get a chance for a wave is due to his speed approaching the truck. He tried to just fly by him. Had he slowed down and waited for a better time to pass than a turn maybe the truck driver would not have reacted like that. Slow down pull in behind him and then pass sanely not kneedraggin at 80.

I don't think we'll ever know if you are right or not Saiid. There was no pause on the truck's move to ditch the rider. That was pure emotion no rational thought about it at all. If the rider had been going slower and tried to pass, the truck may have well been successful in running him off the road....

Guys always remember your helmet is for your protection, just let out a Ric Flair "Woo" before you head bunt anyone.:javelik:

WOW that video pissed me off. There is no way I would have kept calm after this guy tried to send me to meet GOD. And they were wearing full riding gear too, I would have definitely taken that crowbar off him and been going to jail that night. People nowadays don't care about riders. Just yesterday I watched this guy with his wife on a Harley get cut off buy a car balantly and the guy downed his bike hard. I watched at least 10 vechicles just go by him without a care in the world without stopping him to help the two. I stopped and helped me pick his bike back up (damn Harley's are heavy) and pushed it off the road. I have been seeing more and more of this lately.

did you report the driver who put em down?:rulez:

Man oh man...I need a beer after that one! I was rippin' mad and it wasn't even me! I do agree that he probably shouldn't have passed on a double solid...cause none of us have done that before....

If a particular road is frequented by bikers then that local boy would have known this. The bikers were enjoying the road just like any of us would have and the driver of the truck was irate to say the least. Yes the biker passed illegally but chasing him down because of that is ridiculous. If the driver of the truck wasn't a buthead he would have pulled over a bit letting the bikers pass. Happens all the time here, roll up on a slow car they obviously see me and give a "come on passed" type wave then it's back to enjoying the road. All parties were in the wrong but the driver of truck could have killed someone even himself , Especially pulling the crow bar. If a man needs a weapon he isn't much of an opponent anyway

I know the moderators don't want threats being made, so I'd like to make it clear that the following is not a threat, merely an opinion:

The driver of that truck deserves a major ass-kicking. He tried to commit murder. There really isn't anything else to say. - The two bikers weren't doing anything that endangered him, but he sure as hell went out of his way to endanger the bikers.

Agree 1000%

WOW!! I cant believe he really tried to run him over! Ive seen the ol "scare the biker" but that was a bit more....

I have a friend who was a motorcycle cop for a number of years. He told me that they were taught that if someone tries to sideswipe you like that, you put your foot out sideways and use it to help keep the car away from you. I have had to do it once (not a deliberate sideswipe, just a driver who didn't look) and it worked.

Has anyone else notice that last weeks accident and this one that both bikers were on Kawasaki's? Maybe if they just bought busa's they wouldn't have these problems?

The pickup driver was arrested for reckless driving, DUI and the DA is using the video to consider reckless endangerment and possibly attempted murder charges. If convicted of all charges the pickup driver could get up to 24 years in jail. That's unlikely but he will likely see a felony conviction and jail time for his life threatening antics. Jerk.
