Got a video of that? I know how much you LOVE posting videos100 mph...sheessh...i do that standin on the tank
Hell I took my wife up to a speedohealer corrected 150 the other day and she loved it..........now she's always gonna want the speed.........what have I DONE!!!!!!yeah yeah yeah i know this is slow for you all.
i've never been up to 100mph. went up to 90 on the harley but that was it. maaannnnn the busa is rock solid and smooooooth.... hit the mark then just coasted down to speed. did it on a road that has no side streets, no driveways, and no oncoming traffic for safety.
ever see that comercial about identity theft with the two old ladies talkin' about motorcycles? "them bikes was fast, tell you what...shoot"
way to "break it in"...I hit 105 mph on the way home from dealer when I first got her, day after Christmas
so true.................................Dood. Twist that thing! You really need to experience 175+, then tell us what you think! Actually, it's kind of anti-climatic, bike is still rock solid at hyper-speed, they will surely bend light. Good job on making sure the road is hyper-speed worthy, I think most of us who run in the triple digits only have a few inspected areas that will do. Also, remember your pre & post-flight inspections, got to throw an eyeball on the important parts each and every time you suspect a trip into the twilight zone may be a possibility. I'm not even going to start my rant about gear.....this ain't no harley. This high speed thing is like a bad viruis, once ya got it, tough to get rid of....
The only bad thing about maxing it out is that now I need to make it fasterso true.................................Dood. Twist that thing! yeah like i said a hunnit is like just cruisin. its like you and the bike can fall asleep at that speed ...so effortless lolHonestly, I could cruise at a 100 all day long and not even think twice about how fast I am going. It just seems natural to me.
if you pass a cop at 160 he wont chase you just get off and go back the other way if you see one lol. i dont know how they do it in tenn. but here (dc area) not really much they can do. but i heard md state troopers just bought 5 bmw 1200's to help ....i guess.lol plus gettin to 160 doesnt take too long you should be okim tryin to beat 160 but im worried about gettin busted.
Map quest , "Busa time" , +100Mapquest should add the option of "Busa time" to the driving directions.
It IS a daily habit! If I can't hit over 110mph every day (because traffic can stop me around here) then I consider the "ride" a failure... and just another commute...watch out... it will become a daily habit...
