I'd like to ride, but Saturday the 18th is out for me (SCUBA diving with my son). I can do it on father's day, the 19th. I am a father after all. Special dispensation.

Check with Kevin. Maybe you can stay in Lakeland where he is and ride out with him. He's right off I-4. Knifemaker lives out that way and I think maybe a couple more guys. Moosebusa I think? Besides those no-good Kesler brothers, it's a pretty decent city.

Anything in North Lakeland or near I-4 is within just a few minutes of my house. We will be heading north when we ride so the North side would be ideal.

Yeah, but it sure beats the cold and snow. At least it lets up occasionally and we can ride during the dry spells.

Is anyone bringing their significant other or is it just a solo trip? If mine joined she would be riding pillion. Don't think her little Savage would keep up.

I was planning a fast-paced ride with some good twisties....of course you're welcome to bring the little lady, we won't lose anyone.

I talked to Diesel on the phone and we have a tentative route that is pretty long. (maybe 7 hours or so). It takes us northward, west of I-75 for a good while then east a bit into the Ocala Nat'l Forest then back south through the center of the state. If she's up for a long ride, bring her along. I'm sure my wife will decide whether or not to go depending on how many other wives are going.
