I was just up there today trying to find some good routes, I went right up 200 and decided it gets an overwhelming "NO", stoplights every half mile, six lanes wide and oldsters with cataract glasses for as far as you can see. We will probably still do the ONF but the route will likely take us up west of Ocala, across north of Ocala, then back down through the forest. If you can meet at SR52, or the Hess at SR50, they are both less than an hour from you by interstate. The nearest we will ride to where you are staying will probably be Inverness which is at the SW end of 200, or you can head west to Dunnellon, of course the farther north you meet us, the less riding you get to do with us. As the time gets closer, we'll finalize the route some more.

Ok, here's the basic route: From the neon cowboy we'll hit our usual backroads to Brooksville then on to Inverness. Mostly twisties up that way. From there up 41 to Williston, then east on 318. Maybe we'll stop in Micanopy if everyone feels like it. From 318 we'll head south on 19 thru the ONF. At SR 50 in Groveland, my group can start heading back west towards home and Kev can head south back to Lakeland. That is a FULL DAY of riding! I'll be playing it by ear, though, so we can cut it a little shorter if need be.

Hey Ocala guys, I was up there again today, it is 63 miles and takes about 50 minutes to get from SR200 in Ocala to SR52 (San Antonio exit) That would be the best place to meet, it you go to the hess at SR50, you'll miss some good riding.

OK...my departing location will depend entirely on if I can locate a trailer, to get my bike UP to Ocala when I return this Monday. If I cannot find a price that agrees with me, then I will be leaving from St. Pete the morning of the ride.
Sounds great if I do wind up leaving from this area!

Hey Cecil, you're only about 15 minutes away from Neon Cowboy, that's where we're meeting at 7:30. It's just west of I-75 (a couple of miles) on state road 52, but I'm sure you already knew that.
