Too bad that if your child was now enrolled in Kindergarten in the Texas school system by the time he or she graduated they would probably have no idea who the guy responsible for those quotes was. And you have your conservative brethren to thank for that. Goes to show that both parties are not interested in their assigned task.
As far as racism within the TP movement, I have not witnessed any in the local folks I know that are active members, but I'm sure there are bad apples just as there are in every bunch. The undertones of racism permeate our society, it is the legacy of slavery. All we can do is educate our children.

I'm actually in favor for less government regulations in personal life. I don't like restrictions on things that have no effect over anyone else! I'm all for that on the Tea party front... Unfortunately, alot of those same people who scream about getting the government out of their lives LOVE getting the government to control other people's lives when it is something they don't agree with.

As I stated I'm not a political person, but I can tell you this whether there has been a Democrat or Republican president or governor in office my:

State property tax goes up every year without fail, state tax (6% to 7%) has gone up, federal tax has gone up, wage has gone up, but my healthcare has gone up @ the same rate, income tax return has gone down. That is why I can't get into politics. The money is still coming out of my pocket either way.. I need my money to take care of my own.

I can not fathom for the life me ANYONE that would not put Thomas Jefferson

Ok So I am standing there and a few Tea Party guys cross the street to intimidate me. They get close and remember I am alone. Guys say, You have balls to be out here alone. I say, Nah, just think both sides need to be heard." He says, "You can't defend that guy. I could see if you were a ****** or something." All of them laugh.
So no I cannot prove it. I need to figure out a way to film the whole two hours each Sat vs just taking photos. You miss all the people who drive by and call me names. People beep then look at you with so much rage and send the finger. I don't take it personal because I set myself up for it but why is it so hard to believe that a lot of Americans are angry and are not used to losing. The temp. is being turn up and it will get ugly. I am not un-American to support an intelligent President who is working hard to fix things. Granted he is not a good cheerleader.
My kid is a Marine with two tours in Iraq. My son is Gay and my other child has lupus. I am just as American as the next guy. We all have a right to stand for something and be heard but in a calm honest way with facts. then get out and vote. Now each side wants the other to lose and screw what happens to our Country.
Oh and the God signs, that should scare all freedom loving Americans who understand history.

Current administration is even continuing some of the policies and yes, I was mad at some and spoke about it. I believe you missed the whole point of the post above. The conservatives... oops, I mean tea party(forgote they changed names) never protested while all these things went on, but NOW they are pissed.
