For those of you who pray...

Bob,
Will keep your family in my prayers. God Bless Your Daughter.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of Heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son,
our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of
the Holy Spirit
and was born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again.
He ascended into Heaven,and
is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge
the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the Communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.

Our Father, who art in Heaven.
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women
And blessed is the fruit of your womb,
Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
Son and Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning,
Is now,
And forever shall be.
Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping
in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy towards us.
And after this our exile, show unto us
the blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy
of the promises of Christ.

Amen.

Mark 8: 22-26 RSV

22: And they came to Beth-sa'ida. And some people brought to him a blind man, and begged him to touch him.
23: And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands upon him, he asked him, "Do you see anything?"
24: And he looked up and said, "I see men; but they look like trees, walking."
25: Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and saw everything clearly.
26: And he sent him away to his home, saying, "Do not even enter the village."

Another father who has a daughter and can't even imagine what this must be like for you. Hope she is able to beat this and recover. If God is listening, there is no prayer more worthy of answering than one for a man's daughter.

Amen!  Prayer sent.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. Who'd ever thunk that a bunch of crazy sport-bikers could have such soft hearts. I guess we're kind of experts on divine intervention though. After all, besides my daughter, who need a guardian angel more than a Busa rider!

I really am humbled by your responses. Thank you so much.

hey buddy, prayin for yur daughter. my bro had the same problem even worse actually his plateletter count was nearly 10000.he is fine nou.lets hope the miracle happens again

Thanks again everyone. Your support is overwhelming!

The latest is that she will be transferred to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL tomorrow. For those of you not from the area, Shands is associated with the University of Florida (GO Gators!) and is apparently one of the best facilities in the state. Lots of experts there. I'm happy that she's going, but unhappy that it will be more difficult to see her. Gainesville is about 2 hours away from where I work and live.

Overall, I think it's a good move. Keep the prayers going!

Prayer has been sent. My daughter is 15, and I couldn't imagine how hard this must be for you.

Hope she gets better soon.

I too have a daughter that is 9, and she is a daddy's girl.
My prayers are with you, your daughter and family. If their is anything you need please post it and we will do the best we can to help.

Well, looks like the tranfer will wait until tomorrow. The good news is that her numbers have improved for the second day in a row! Your good thoughts and prayers are working! Thanks so much.

Her improvement was obvious tonight in that she had plenty of energy to boss her boyfriend around! Poor guy.

As a daughter, girlfriend and aunt...she's also in my prayers.

How is she doing?

Would you mind if I go visit her? I'm in Kissimmee/Orlando area and could do the trip on a Saturday or Sunday.
