Funny quote from 10R review article...

Normallly I have been trying to stay out of this ongoing epic with newer member ( or older ones that want to hide behind a different name ) giving BT crap about his 10R. For those of us that were around when the switch was made, we know there was a very valid reason for it. For the others, its very simple...YOU DON'T RATE. This crap is starting to remind me of the first day of kindergarten with everyone talking about how their big brother could be someone else's big brother up.

Yes this is a busa site, but last I checked we all knew there are other bikes out there that are blindingly fast and extremely impressive in all regards. Personally I enjoy the fact that I can come on here and not just see close minded b!tches trying to act like something special because of something we bought. Everyone reads the titles before clicking on the post, if you don't like they topic then stay out and keep yourself happy.

Not that I care really, but why would somebody who sells a Busa for a 10 want to try and convince the rest of us that we drive inferior motorcycles...escpecially on a Busa message board.

I ride a bus and love it and he rides a 10 and I'm sure loves it. I am by no means laying judgement here...just curious. I personally would seek out a board (people) with common interests.

Just my lousy $.02
Mind your own business... If you don't like the program change the freakin' channel. Just like cazy, you saw the title and knew it didn't interest you but you feel compelled to click, read, and post up your $.02... but somehow I'm the instigator... Yeah... Get a life and don't worry about what I post. How about that?
Dang man....you seem a little sensitive. I in no way condemned you or spoke negatively in my post. I personally think that 10 is an amazing machine....but in the future I will note that you don't like people that might differ in opinion than you. Ride Safe and thanx for the article for it was a good read.
Yeah, a guy with a handful of posts and NO real input into this forum basically tells me I should find a new place to hang out and I'm "sensitive" when I chop him off at the knees... LOL

I have no problems with differences of opinion. I have a problem with a newbie tellin' me to find somewhere else to play.

Ok....ill agree that my post does read different than I intended it too....but please don't label me a newbie. I have been reading this forum for about a year and a half and enjoy it a lot. I just am better at reading and learning than stating my point. Train...trully meant you no disrespect man...keep up the good info.
If that's the case then it's all good, man.

I peronally appreciate the input from BT.  It's a reminder that the Busa pound for pound isn't the dominant machine it used to be.  And beyond that he's commenting about a bike he's very pleased with.  You can't knock him for that, and I'm sure he frequents other sites, but isn't going to completely leave because he no longer drives a Busa anymore.  Personally my self esteem is in place enough to know the Busa is still the bike to beat and until magazine articles begin printing new advertisments entitled "zx10r Beater" or "R1 Killer" or "gixxer1000 destroyer" well let's just say we know who is still king.

I enjoy the fact that I have the only bike that is almost a comfy for a passenger as it is for me.

It's like this, you're heavyweight bench press champion at 500lbs in 1999.  There is only one competitor close to you and he's benching 490lbs after mouthing he would beat you by 100lbs.

6 years later all the wittle guys have been taking steriods and protein shakes and reading every men's fitness/health/muscle mag to hit the market. And wow they're benching 490 as well.  Yeah on a bad day they may out bench you by 5lbs or so.  But on any given day after you haven't benched in 6 years your outta shape, big belly having overweight rear end could still hand em their rear end at the drop of a dime.

Then ride off into the sunset with the wifey for a 6 hour ride to the beach.

That's why I brought the Busa, that's why I love to ride er so much (back soon too LOL), that's why I brought the baddest bike on the market.  And because the speed limitation of 2000, that's why I own the fastest stock bike in motorcycle history.

God I love the Busa, the prototype of what manufacters today measure speed!

Keep it comin BT, I'm still going to own a 10r, r1 or gixxer1000 to play with. I appreciate the input from both perspectives.

The 10 was not on my "short List" when I bought my Busa, but I still like to hear the comparison and feedback from someone who has owned both.
