Gen 3 arrival in Canada...when?

Took delivery last Saturday and went on a little 300mi ride...

This is my third 'Busa. Only have 90 kms on it at this point, but love the better low end power compared to the gen 2. Still figuring out all the settings. Pouring rain for the next few days so more riding will have to wait a bit. But certainly no regrets. Still a 'Busa, just better, in my opinion.

Enjoy the ride. Welcome

....and what do you think of her?
I'm upgrading from an 07 Busa, so EVERYTHING is better!

The stock exhaust sounds a bit tinny compared to the stock on my 07, but I'm just so used to the old girl's low growl I'm sure it will just be a matter of time to get used to the new note.

Handling is night and day in comparison. In the corners it feels like the 2018 S1000RR I rode with California Superbike School a few years back. Super easy to tip in and feels a lot lighter than my Gen1.

The stock seat on the Gen1 is by far the most comfortable stocker I've ever ridden. The stock seat on this Gen3 is probably just too new and a mite stiff, but will probably get cushier with more miles. My first ride was 5 hours long and the fuel stops were enough of a quick break for the butt.

The quick shifter is definitely a nice feature, especially if you have a passenger. No more helmet clunking on hard upshifts! I just have to get my left hand to stop squeezing the clutch on every shift... Habits die hard!

The cruise control is great! I still use a throttle rocker for city riding though, as it's more useful when traveling shorter distances, in traffic, etc. The only downside so far is with disengaging cruise control without the bike lurching. I find the only smooth way to disengage is to turn the throttle until it matches the cruise setting, then tap quickly on the rear brake. Since it's new to me I found myself several times releasing the throttle when the car ahead slowed but my bike kept on its merry way the slowing car... A micro second of panic haha.

Definitely needs:
Heated grips (on order)
Touring screen, racks for Givis
