Gen 3 Latest report ..

Went through a tank now and it came to 0.64 litres per 10 km. I used an online converter and it said that's 36.75 Mpg in the US. This is while breaking it in though so it'll get better mileage later on when riding normally.

The indicated mileage was actually very accurate.

I agree, I don't like to buy someone else's problems..

I will never buy another used vehicle.
Lets assume for a minute you like ZR-1 Corvettes built between 1990 and 1995 like I do. On the ZR-1 Net is a crowd of about 600+ members all over the world but mostly in the USA that own these pedigree of C4 Corvette. Collectively speaking many people know about certain cars, their owners, and the cars history and can learn in advance about a specific ZR-1 that interest them. This is just one niche in the world of performance cars... there are others.

If I go to someones place to look at a car or a motorcycle I check out everything that is easily visible. How and where somebody lives tells you a lot about how they take care the motor vehicles they own.

Buying at auction or at a dealership is where the mystery is the biggest... lease returns are usually pretty solid but not priced as well as private party cars on average.

People buy and sell cars and motorcycles for a multitude of reasons... it's not always because of problems.

I had a red 94 zr-1 bought off my friends dad he took me for a ride one day and I asked if he would sell it to me a few months later he called me I paid 18k and enjoyed for 2 years then sold for 23k to get cts -v since I liked having rear seats and looked better for real-estate hell of a ride except that all red interior lol....life begins at 180mph!!! I was trying to find a c8 base model for 60k but goodluck they are being scalped like there's no tomorrow quite sad.

I will clarify my position...I will never again buy a used daily driver...

Specialty vehicles such as this or a classic car are hard to buy new....obviously...

Same as motorcycles as to me it is a toy as I don't need to go to work..I will buy them used but only if I know their history

Way to go Dawg! A former ZR-1 owner in the Org. Have you seen the new ZR-1 world record set in October 2020 at Bonneville? a couple minutes of 8000 rpm LT5 heavenly tunes!
A 1990 ZR-1 still holds the 24 hr world record averaging 175 mph from 1990.

It's arrived here in NZ....
It's at my shop now!!
I'll ride it and give my thoughts shortly..

Stopped in at Temecula Motorsports in Socal today... No new Busa yet. They salesman said Suzuki is a little slow in releasing them. Don't know how they will sell here because Gen 2s were only going out the door at one unit per year.
yeah, same goes with my shop, I've been working here close to 3 years now, we sold 1 new Gen 2 in all that time, but we have 2 confirmed orders for the Gen 3 at present.
We have a Gen 3 presentation evening at the shop tonight, expecting about 30 people to show up.

Yours is an opinion we can believe... unless u say u don't like it then we might have to disown you :poke: . But seriously can't wait to hear your ride report
Ok, so it's a big fat heavy pig.
My '99 Gen 1 runs rings around it.
Way too smooth in the power delivery . . doesn't even feel like you are riding a motorcycle.
The exhaust note is virtually inaudible, my Gen 's Akra at least sounds like a Busa should sound.
It does look good though . . . . but $29,000 is way more than I wanna pay.

Sooooooo . . . . . . am I disowned??
