Post by the Biggest Re-Seller in Japan .

Soon i got more INFO , i share it with you all

I ordered a Zero-Gravity sheild for an 03 gsxr600 in March.
I got an email Monday saying it would be 2-4 weeks, or longer, before they could get to it.
I said no thanks, and got a refund(I sold that bike 2 months ago, lol).
Hopefully that was because it was an old bike, with low to no demand, and their focus is on new things, like the gen3, and that their whole operation is not struggling in Commyfornia.

Yes please.....This is my next mod, been close to purchasing the Suzuki accessory Clear Touring screen but that $350 price for a clear piece of plastic just seems a bit steep, so I'm patiently waiting for this

Odd, I got a new db from zero gravity in 2 days for my Gen 2.

If I remember right , Suzuki state that if parked out in hot sun for extended periods , you need the cover they give you , the advisery is written on a sticker on the screen .
My Zero Gravity DB came with the same warning as well. I had a zero gravity on my CBR when I used to commute and would leave it out in the sun for the work day and it never melted. Could have been luck or maybe just the company not wanting liability if something did happen.

Still have the bag from my Zero Gravity Windscreen.

Motorcycle Dashboards: In certain rare instances the material used by motorcycle manufacturers in the construction of dashboards and gauges is made from plastics that have an inherently low melting point. Zero Gravity assumes no liability for any melting or deforming of the dashboard or it’s components due to heat from the sun or for any other reason. Please make sure to cover your dashboard if you plan to leave your bike exposed to the sun for any length of time.

Interesting disclaimer....

I noticed my Puig DB is slightly tinted...

Cover ???.....

I have always run dark smoke double bubbles because of the wonderful coverage it gives to the dash and the gauges. On sunny days, long runs, as the sun changes positions I can always see my gauges. Besides I'm too big to get behind it so why not use it as dash protection.

I remember that happening all the time in the early 2000's. The aftermarket windscreens turn into magnifying glasses in the sun and a bunch of people had melted gauge clusters. People were not happy when they found out the price of gauge clusters, can't imagine what cost on a new TFT dash is?

Yep, had a friend with a gold sheild on his 636, 15+ years ago, and it melted the top of the guages parked in the sun.
