Gen3 quick shifter doesnt work like its supposed

Man I was thinking the same thing today! 130miles today and it happened for a good bit of those. Once even just slipping into neutral and that was on a hard acceleration.
Probably easier to throw it in the bin and get an aftermarket unit.

Rode yesterday and simply didn’t use it because it’s rubbish.
Sad to hear this sort of thing....

Luckily my aftermarket QS is flawless....I thought of you guys when I was out riding today and using it...

I know its been discused a few times before but i have to make it clear the quick shifter on gen 3 its a scam it doesnt work right come on guys give me a green light what else can we do to make it work?
I occasionally have a problem, other times WOT it’s an automatic. There’s 3 or 4 settings for QS in the menu. I haven’t touched mine

So how common is this QS problem? Sounds like some folks don’t have a problem but the majority seem to have issues.
I’m contemplating buying a Gen 3 but I’m getting scared off by this problem.
For those that have a Gen 3 would you buy again knowing what you know now?

3 or 4 settings? That is in the Maxecuu menu because in the oem ecu its QS1 or QS2 i havent seen any more
It actually has 3, I set mine to 2 yesterday to check it out because of this thread. Haven’t done a lot of checking but 2 seems a little lazy or slow compared to 1. There’s an OFF option as well. I also understand there’s a revision to the QS the ECU that dealers can make.

I put the stock ECU back on last night and went for a half hour ride, yeah the QS delay thing is terrible, i did have TC on 1 i think which from limited memory i think makes it worse, but its kinda scary how it feels when you are WOT and it doesn't go back to that immediately after the shift.

Thought why not just go aftermarket ignition kill with a healtech or something and turn QS OFF, but then the bummer is no auto blipper for downshifting. Someone should develop a setup where you can still use autoblipper, but prevent the up shift from happening and go non suzuki (seperate) kill for upshift

I must be the exception to the rule I have had zero problems with a quick shifter granted I’ve only put 1800 miles on the motorcycle since new but I definitely don’t baby my bike but it’s 75 years of age I don’t live as much but I still love the bike to death. And besides that God is my copilot.

Got the first Hayabusa Gen 3 in Sweden and have reported this to Suzuki.
Problems with Quickshifter, Hayabusa 2021?

Regardless off Settings QSMode1 or 2, Engine break off or on:
When QS is used in traffic 2000-4000 RPM, it usually works perfectly.
When i pick up the pace a notch so that i accelerate harder around 4000 - 7000 RPM it so happends from time to time, that the shifting takes up to half a second before it actually engages the next gear. Since QS usually works flawless and switching from one gear to another is done in Milliseconds, this phenomenom feels very strange, accelerations stops and feels like forever, until next gear finally engages. These misses can happend from any gear to any other gear so there is no other pattern to replicate this error other than that it must be some decent acceleration involved for these misses to occur. Before my Hayabusa i had a Suzuki GZXr1000r, also equipped with QS and it never missed gears or had any sudden delays like this.
Please advice me how to solve this error.
Sincerily J.K.Silversjö

Still no response from them wich REALLY pisses me off as a loyal Suzuki customer.
