my gen 3 having same issue time to time. it has delay shift between 1 to 2nd gear in hard takeoffSo have none of our other gen 3 owners experienced this issue? I know the gixxer 1000r had some issues with the quickshifter but not sure what exactly what it was but had something done in the flash that Chris Moore did for my buddy's. Didn't I see something about the gen 3 already having an update the ecu needs? Was it related to the quickshifter?
Hi BusaGen,I have a third-generation Hayabusa.
When shifting with QS, sometimes the engine disengages for longer than it should. It can be as one or two seconds. Does anyone have the same problem?

I am from the Czech Republic. We fall under distribution from Hungary and they don't want to deal with a complaint on one bike. Can you also claim this problem? Let there be more of us. Then Suzuki will have to solve the problem. When the problem shows up in a corner, it's

I noticed it as well.. After experimenting with the two quickshift modes (QS). QS1 is your racing tearing through gears in the red zone mode. If you're in that mode doing easy rides around town then QS1 is going to have a hard time engaging since you aren't going as fast. QS2 has a more smoother shift if touring around town and such.I have a third-generation Hayabusa.

Thanks for the info... I'll keep that in mindI have switched mine out for the Woolich unit. Since then, it has not had a delay once...
Feels that way. I also believe this is a problem on at least some of the other Suzuki models. I know a GSX8S owner that had similar complaints with his QS and that same owner recently got a new Yamaha XSR900GP and says the QS is leaps and bounds better. I've also logged numerous hours of riding on a 2022 R1 and a 2021 BMW S1000RR and both of those bikes have flawless QS's that make the gen3 Busa feel like it's in the stone age in regards to QS technology.Seems like complaints to Suzuki on this one is falling on death ears.
