(00Negative @ Jun. 18 2007,21:46) $3k for an 07 or previous?

I sure would pick one up and make ready for the track. Save my baby from any harm!

Doubt that will happen... but none the less I'm kinda anxious to see the 08 on the floor.
Won't hit the floor before 3/08

(Vic_E55_2001 @ Jun. 18 2007,22:23) am I the only one who knows that new Hayabusa will never be released.
Nope. You are just a member in good standing of the National Organization of BNG. Yup...NOBaNG. Welcome to the club

.

Of course there will be a new machine with Euro3 compliance, upgraded electronics and motor in the not too distant future but considering  the current trend.....the new Super Busa will have a HUGE price-tag. Cheap used Busa's....NOT.

(dadofthree @ Jun. 18 2007,23:31) Euro Compliance, oh yeah you live in Kalifooooornication

The days of 49 state + California are coming to a close. 50 state machines will be the standard by 2010. Ducati's are all 50 state now and several new machines introduced by several manufactures are this year as well. Annual emissions certification for your bike is right around the corner.

I went thru this when I had my v max. Yamaha still hasn't released the new improved one. I'll keep my 06 and enjoy the fact it is paid off and one of the best bike out there. Nuff said!

Screw the 08.As far as Indy is concern. They will be selling at sticker price only + freight and prep.No deals.Indy is nuts on certain bike prices.I had alot of people pissed at me cause I had a guy help me get my down to 9785 before taxes. Most people was paying sticker, freight, prep and then taxes. That comes to 12500.I can't beleive how many boneheads payed that.

As much as I enjoy my hayabusa, and while I am a Suzuki fan and have only owned Suzuki's all my life.

Even Suzuki comes out with a totally new hayabusa with more power, more bling more everything!! AND even if I had the money and was in an awesome position to purchase a new and awesomely improved 08 model, I still would wait for a year or two.

The Hayabusa as it stands is an awesome bike, but even it had a few problems when it first came. First thing that comes to mind is its aluminum sub frame. Nice and light for sure, however they didn’t take a whole lot of stress, and I don’t think I would want to be on a bike when the sub frame cracked.

So yeah a totally kick but brand new, awesome looking hayabusa would have to be street tested by others for a year or more before I got one.

(PaNDeM1C @ Jun. 19 2007,02:35) I also won't be in any rush to hop on a new 08. I'll spend a year listening to what people say about it here and then maybe make the new purchase and let some new Busa worshipper take over on my 06.
And that's what I feel a large percentage of people will do... including myself. I'm going to wait for the first year to pass by and purchase based on reviews of the new Busa.

Sadly (or not so sadly) the only bike that will lose its value when the new Busa emerges is the ZX-14.
