Got my new brocks today

Sorry for all of the repeat posts guys. My mother is in the hospital and I replied from my tablet with very poor service, but it looks like my posts were just delayed.

I will await Karnage's reply to take care of this.

Brock

Prayers made for mom. Hope all will be well.

Brock thanks for replying personally. That my friends is why I'm willing to pay a bit more.
I still have yet to see a Mr Muzzy or a Mr Yoshimura or a Mr Akropovic or any other maker for that matter personally address a concern here or anywhere. It would have been just as easy to have a representative respond but for the owner of a large company to post on a forum is impressive and speaks volumes.

brock isn't a manufacturer like the others you mentioned.

No doubt about it though he has great customer service. Hope everything works out with your mom as well.

To say that I have not taken advantage of "borrowed" technology would be a blatant fabrication on my part, as well as anyone else's . "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" comes to mind. Evolution of technology requires it. R&D has to merit something. Sure, you can reap the fruit of someone else's labor in the form of a "discounted" copy, (hey Walmart). We all do it on a regular basis.
The reward has to be there for companies like Brock's, Pazzo, Galfer, etc. to continually develop new, improved, innovative performance products.
Price and value aren't always proportional, but......
Personally I want guys like Brock to continue pushing the envelope, developing cutting edge speed candy.
A higher buy-in is the cost of admission.
Don't get me wrong, I shopped for the best deal I could find on my AlienHead, and it still stung. Who likes to spend money? But at the end of the day, I got a phenomenol exhaust set up, that produces great numbers, looks killer, (IMHO), and sounds friggin' awesome. Supporting a company that is continually trying to provide a better product to demanding customers like me....
I look forward to seeing what he comes up with next.
His personal involvement in concerns with his product is icing on the cake.
Great product, great customer service.......win win.
Keep up the good work, Brock.
Thoughts and prayers for your mom.
Shawn

Are you certain the others I mentioned actually are? They may be 100% in house, they may be not.
And either way my point was the guy who's name is on the company personally took time to respond and address the concerns. None of his competition ever has.

Start a thread called 'got my Yoshimura today' and see what happens.

Its obvious you dont understand the difference between a retailer and a manufacturer.

I guarantee if you bought that yosh from schnitz they would have the same great service and get you happy.

I dont know about muzzy but I know yosh welds all their own systems, and all the r-d are welded right here in the us. When mr hindle joins lmk

Lest we forget....more and more "high end" manufacturers are now having to go off-shore due to quality "issues"...both trade and material. Sad, but true. That day is here gentleman. It's not about "cheaper" all the time.
Knolly Bikes out of Vancouver BC, ($5000 and up mountain bikes)had to delay a release of their 2012 models due to quality of welds and materials provided by their North American providers. Went to CHINA for quality....
How sad is that???!!!
Skilled artisans are apparently experiencing an extinction level event on our side of the pond....

Yes, I will admit it is great customer service by Brock. On the other hand sounds like the QA department needs to revise its standards. Nice follow up by Brocks.

Sorry to hear your Mom is not feeling well. Best wishes to her for a full and speedy recovery:please:

From my dunce stool :cookoo:

Very glad to see that I purchased my exhaust from an outstanding company that actually cares about their customers and stands %100 behind their product. Thank you Brock's!

Hopefully yosh will figure out how to make power. My welds can look like dirt dobber nest as long as my pipe is making HP.

No, seriously I can't say enough about Brock's response and Karnage seems happy and that's all that really matters.

As far as looks go, that's buyers choice. I could care less if something is pretty or not, as long as it makes me faster!
I checked my facts and found this:
Muzzy's M10 is $879, Brock's ShortMeg is $1045. Both SS, both full systems. Muzzy's standard full system is $499, (stainless with aluminum can) Brock's (stainless with aluminum can) is $1065. All this pricing is from Schnitz website.
No Muzzy's doesn't offer map support, in fact their customer service is horrible, but for the price difference you can get a custom tune. Yeah, everything has gone up everywhere, you oughta price race fuel!
Not wanting to bash Brock or his products by any means, he's popular for good reason, just stating why I personally shop elsewhere.:beerchug:

Not going back out on this one. I have my pipe. My data came from Brock's and Muzzy's websites. I compared systems but apparently did a poor job. My sincere apology to you sir.

I've spent the last two weeks trying to decide which slip-ons I want for my 2011 Busa and finally paired it down to Slip-On System Dual Alien Head from Brocks or the Muzzy. Muzzy is priced ~$150.00 less than the Brock's but figured it was worth the extra $150.00.

So.... go to the Brock's website, all exicted to order, only to find that there 0 in stock :( . I called up and spoke with a sales guy - was told it was a month or so before they received the pipes and then they'd turn around and send them to me :(

For the money I'll probably end up going with Muzzys ... or maybe go back to looking at Yoshi ... Yoshi is priced quite high as well, though... sigh...

Why not just go with a full Brocks system? They are not much more than a set of slipons and you get better performance out of your bike.

From what I was told by the sales guy, the full systems all have a single out and I prefer to have the dual look. Did I misunderstand him or is that actually correct?

Nope you are right. Only full dual set up Brock's sells is the CT titanium system.

smartinez1984, good news !

We have final confirmation of our shipment and we WILL have the Dual Alien Head slip-ons arriving today.
We didn't know until after business hours yesterday. Our real time inventory system MIGHT show them in stock as soon as we receive them into inventory. **BUT** if others are watching also, they might be gone as soon as they become available (it happens frequently these days as we can't produce fast enought to keep up with demand).

FYI: I just checked and 50% of the #300681 arriving inventory is already pre-sold.

If you want to make sure you get one, you should call now and place your order. 937-912-0054.
