Hey RR.
Cheers for this mate.
Hope the Autobahn's are treating you well.
They are the roads you want if you have a Busa.
Stay safe.
Cheers
Shane.

My friend, the german Autobahn is not so fantastic, as many of you think. Full of cars, bad road conditions, many speed limits, many young drivers with cars among 200 - 300 HP with a massive ego and bikes are their enemys. At 4 o´clock in the morning...maybe you have a chance to give full throttle, untill the next limit or building side. The bavarian Autobahn is near by my house, but i have to drive 50 miles untill i find a part of the Autobahn without speed limit. Only when you live near the coast, in the north of germany, there you can use a Busa like she deserve it. :D

Hi all,
Hope everyone is well.

So finally after dreaming about owning a Hayabusa ever since I knew they existed
I finally have one.(Well it's sort of a deal between myself and the bank really)

It IS pretty much my dream bike.

It's a 2019 in beautiful black.
Standard except for power commander,
quick shifter and Yoshi exhaust.
It's also a special edition no 2 of 20.
Not sure if this means in Australia, world wide,in black? Dunno.

I haven't even ridden it yet except from the driveway to the shed.

I am waiting for my licence to click over from learner approved to big bike licence
which happens on Xmas eve of all dates.

So Xmas day it maybe "stuff your turkey, love."
"I'm outta here"
Doubt that's really going to happen.

The bike sure does sound like it means business.
A great popping of flames if you dump the revs.
Nice.
Note my last big bike many years ago was a 754 honda.
I think I am in for quite a shock when comparing.

Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Any handy hints greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Shane.

Ahh ok.
I drove on them way back in 87 and of course compared to most of our Aussie roads they were amazing.
I guess things have changed over time.
Cheers.

Thats it Amigo! Year after year its getting worse! One building side after another, temperatures over 30 Celsius (dont know what this in fahrenheit) we have blow ups in the road surface...many bad accidents caused by that!

In the late 90´ it was a dream, but it changed since then. Ok i´m thankfull for the chances to let the Busa fly, but now the "Grünen"...the german eco political party are right on top of this land, 130km/h limit will come sooner or later. I think these are the last day of Highspeed.......if you find empty space on the Autobahn :D

Hi mate.
It is a full 4 into 1 and it is tuned for it as far as i know.
The previous owner told me it has 197 rear wheel horsepower.
Would that be right?
Cheers.
197 is pretty high for the basic mods.....the rating for the bike from the factory was 197 at the crank, maybe that's the number he was referencing...

Generally they run around 185 or so with the basic mods (flash/tune, full exhaust and filter)

Wow.
Sorry to hear that such great road engineering has been let go.
