That's a good question. What did TM come back with? Or are they putting you off again? Just let us know if they blew you off. If so... Well, a cruise control would be nice for my longer rides to my GF in SD, but I won't die without it. And TM can stay a mom & pop operation.
They wont negotiate on the price unless I have a dealer license. No worries though, I contacted GMBusa who does have a license . I gave him the 411 on the deal with this group on the throttlemiester I started last week. Hopefully he will get back with me by the end of this week.

That's pissy ass response they gave you. Did they not understand that your not doing this for profit, but rather just coordinating a group buy? This is too much work on your part, and seems TM's attitude is too stuck up to me. Just for that response they gave you, I'm expecting a damn good price. Like no more than my low limit which is $80 shipped. Otherwise they count one less from the group, which will bring it down to 48. Sorry Bro, but I have a serious problem with having a pissy, stuck-up company make money off of me. Even $1. Just ask BMW, I went from wanting one to making sure I'll never buy one. I don't care if TM make the barends in gold or platinum, their crap stinks just like everyone else's. Can't believe they treated you like you were asking for a friggin hand out when you were bring close to $5000 to their door! In fact.... Sheeet. To top things off Throttlemiester is a CNC shop that sells these item directly to dealers or the public but wont cut a break unless you have a dealer license.
Personally in the past I have dealt with a Mom and Pops CNC shop here locally when I use have them make my aluminum frame sliders I use to sell a few years ago . So I can say from experience they're making a decent profit on these babies. For example I was only paying $12 to have a set of aluminum from sliders made by them and $3 for the washer and bolt I had to add separately.
No biggy,E. I'm gonna contact another person that has a license as well sinceI havent heard anything from GMBusa. If I dont get anypositive results by Mon, I going to let this one go and make my own damn throttle lock , like I have done with other mods in the past.
For example my indiglo gauges I use to make personally and sell a few years ago. This was from a result of a online company not having any indiglo gauges made for the Busa and wanted me to go fishing for 20 buyers before they would consider making them for the Hayabusa. I was like yeah right ,I'll make my own damn gauges and and keep the 20 buyers myself.

Ordered up a thottlemeister from AZmotorsports.com few months back. May try to ask them about a large order discount.
The installation peels back the end of the rubber grip. Shaves off the inner plastic grip rib. Result the rubber grip pulls short on the shaved side. May want to look into longer grips to replace stock.
