We just hate hearing about people getting hurt or killed, that's all. If you die, you can't enjoy the Busa any more, eh? Or worse yet, you get hurt and have to live the rest of your life not enjoying much of anything else, either.

So, if we make suggestions to help you increase your odds of survival, can you blame us?

A Busa was basically my first bike. 28K no wrecks, I'd buy the Busa and save some coin. It is a monster, and it gets fast silly quick

but on the other hand it's a lot easier stay with the group I ride with..
I used to ride with a group of idiots...  120mph all the way to hooters bike night   never droped below 115....

did this every wed for a month or so... one night I had to work and couldnt go.  they ended up running from the HP and one guy turned down a dead end road and hit a tree.   tore the front off the bike and lucky soab got off with a broke foot.

They still ride 120 to hooters....  I still go but with other riders

peer presure from buddies to  "keep up" is not worth it
Those guys dont learn do they

He's right Bogus.  Some people can't be told.  But I would like to give you props.  My little brother was going to start on a liter bike and I made him read your post, it hit home and he is actually rider a 600 to work his way up.  So even if some people don't hear you or care to listen.  You and everyone else who puts out the good advice does make a difference, you just can't save em all.
There you go Randy,

Sorry i have imporant documents open on my comp and i cant close them. Its stopping me from linking the pics. The mods will have to decide on the fate of them.
No problem...lesson learned.  Graphic pics/video, violent or otherwise, should be linked with a warning.

Sometimes those kinds of pics can cause more harm than good.  I saw some before heading out on a ride once and they can make you ride to tight and wound up and yes, overly cautious.

Just makes my stomach turn is all.... I know for fact that there are others have been "on scene" for fatal bike wrecks...

I wish I had not been there myself, the sights, smell and sounds are forever..

it never leaves you and it makes you mean and nasty when you see where it starts and ends.. (others may view you as opinionated or even rude about it)

BUT you can not fix the world and maybe you can not save someone from their own impetuous, but at least I will go to sleep knowing I wasted 10 minutes of my time trying to save some guys family a lifetime of mourning...

(and til you have been there, there is no explaining the above)

I think I need to quit opening "down rider" threads as well...
Ooh, ooh! This one time, at bike night. This guy was parked next to me. He was a complete new rider on his friends gix 750. We both left at the same time. I went a different way than him to the other bike spot. When i came back around 15 minutes later he had went over the side of a 45 foot overpass and fell to his death.

He overcooked it on the entrance rampand couldnt ride. He bounced off the outside corner, than hit the guardrail, than a light pole, there was a splatter of blood than he fell to his death with his friends bike left lying in the center of the street.

The first bike i had was Kawi EX500. I rode it for 2 yrs and tonight i'm picking up my next bike from the dealer "06 Busa"!

Wish me good luck!
