Hayabusa turbo build

Hey Tofy! Congrats on the new personal best and that 60' is getting there!
Did you get a chance to look into the dynamics to determine what was in there?
Here's some data from one of my passes. You can see how I leave at 7k RPM and it flashes up to 9k RPM while the clutch is doing its work. This is a typical trend of what you'd like to see. It flashes up hard and levels off, then goes vertical again.

You'll also see in my data that when I release the clutch, it doesn't drag down the engine at all, no drop in RPM.
Hey dude, as with every time i go to the track i get excited and i still havent measured my spring lengths, i will do this at the weekend when i am back home.

i did remove weight from the arms however.

see the below still a dip in rpms but slightly better than previous.

will look at what springs are in there and see if i will get away with just removing more weight from the arms or not.

I would leave the clutch the way you have it and up launch rpm. That will help you a lot more then changing clutch tune up. Turbo bikes like more rpm so they can keep that turbo spooled up and have power. It’s not like a nitrous bike we’re they have instant power.

You probably won't get rid of the dip by removing weight from the arms. You need to up your RPM on launch. That will have more of a positive effect on your RPM dip than the weights would.
Hey cold, yes i understand now that i need to up my rpm, i just need to figure out what springs to put in the gen 2 clutch, as it pulls the lever out of my hand on 2 step if i take it too high. I checked at the weekend and i currently have 1.163 and 1.263 springs (as i measured them).

I sure do enjoy the simplicity of my NA bike...and I would never be able to use the power of a turbo bike.

With all the cops being all over the place, I find my bike is more than fast enough to get into trouble really quickly.

I was able to run #15 and #18 without having the lever push my hand out. I could feel it start to try, but I was able to hold it. That was launching at 7K RPM.
Looks like you have #13 and #15. Try putting in the #18 in place of the #13. Make sure they oppose eachother and don't have them all on the same side (you probably know this but you'd be surprised how many times I found this in someone's clutch).

So I just had my first ever race weekend, Friday testing, Saturday qualifying, Sunday eliminations.

There was 22 bikes entered with a mixture of racer experienace ranging from first event to 20years +.

This was 8.50index 1/4 bracket racing, in the uk you have to enter a number of sportsman classes before you can go into pro, to prove your riding etc.

I managed to come 2nd which I was extremely happy with. It was weird turning the power down, but the bike remained Very consistent, I also managed to pull a perfect 8.500 on one of my races.
