How did you verify the resistor? Is there one on your setup?

What are you going to do with the ECU, wanna sell it???
 
Im going to reflash the ECU, with the reflash interface setup going around. ulimiting 6th gear and upping rev limits. That way I can keep bike available to run. Thanks for asking though. As far as the inline resistor goes on the ignition switch harness ECU lead (O/YLLW) -100 ohm resistor-Ground circuit (BLK/WHT) in that order. Solder connecction use shrink wrap at resistor connnection, small eyelet on ground, ground it to frame neck, drill small pilot 1/4 inch sheetmetal screw or small self tapper. All other wires (ONG, GRY, BRN can be attached togather with small eyelet. ( these are ONG-main ignition feed, GRY-lighting circuit, BRN- lighting circuit.) Last wire is RD main battery feed 12v. Race toggle can be two prong installed where u desire. You can also wire these into the horn button or pass headlamp button, if your going to strictly drag bike. Resistors are available through Radio Shack, You can also eliminate other saftey switchs by using resistors I used 100k ohm to eliminate TO switch. Worked perfect. You can make Air temp sensor box to trick ECU into seeing ambient temp 30 degrees F, which will dump fuel to the motor for a cheap horsepwr gain . Box is made with Thermistor bought at Radio Shck. Correction on air temp box use a "potionmeter" I dont know what a was thinking, a thermistor. What a newb, "dUR dA dUR":laugh:
