Hopefully a different spin on the gsxr 1000 vs Hayabusa question

My son has an '07 Gixxer 1000. I have an '06 Busa. The Gixxer is much smaller and feels much smaller. More cramped. Definitely, much stiffer on the highway. It will launch your butt off the seat when you hit a bump.

The Busa is more comfortable on the highway.

Both have plenty of power.

The Gixxer is more single-purpose than the Busa.

If you are bigger/taller, then the Busa would fit you better.

Thanks for the input guys, it will probably be a couple of months before I purchase though, but when I do I'll post pics and stuff.

That's a lot of money when you're talking about used bikes. You can find a much newer busa than an 03 for 8000. I got my 06 in Sep. of 07 and paid 9 for it. I'm sure you could probably find an 06 now for 8. Maybe even an 07 since we're in the second year of the genII (and they have much better colors this year).

yea i picked up an 05 Hayabusa with Yoshi pipes, frame sliders, new tires, with 5400 miles for 7k...

so if you wanna buy a 03 hayabusa for 8k..i can find you one for a fee
