I had my busa for about 4 days and got my butt kicked by a 745I!!!! It scared the hell out of me because I had never gone 160-165(on speedo)He got the jump on me because I wasnt paying attention, caught him(could read his licence plate)but he just kept up a really high speed and I backed off. I went home in shame!!!! It bothered me for a couple of days. Finally I went BMW hunting and a friend of mine on a gixxer 1000 got one to run with us and I passed both there a##'s!!! I was mad as hell the whole time(translation: sh#t my pants!!! )...but, I got it done...I hope I am forgiven and have not shamed the board

im a wuss i got scared doin 170 indicated cause i was vastely outrunning my headlight while my buddy on his busa will run 160 through fog i cant see doin 40 in the car on ... he's not meant to be on this world for long

The last time I really ran my '05 was about a year ago on a long straight stretch of interstate.  The speedo was passing the 175 mark when I had to let off due to upcoming traffic on the horizon.  I almost ended up rear-ending a car in the fast lane!  So since then I have toned it down.  

My wife used to like going fast with me, together we ran close to 152-154ish, that was all before we found out we were having a baby   she hasn't ridden it since..(and I don't tell her how fast I ride anymore).
