How many rear tires have you gone through

i'm on my first set [PP's] after stock. i'm at 9000 and change miles on the bike in all. i ride easy.

I just got the Busa, so I can't comment on that. My cbr1100xx has been through like 18 rears and half as many fronts :(

3900 miles, and i'm at the wear bars on my second rear. first one only lasted until about 2500 miles, bought the bike with 1400. i want some of the multicompound tires for my next set, these stockers get eaten up WAY too fast.

24000 Miles 8 sets of Tires.

BS Stock
Mich HPX 3 sets
Dunlop 208's CRAP
1 set Mich 2Ct's
1 Set Dunlop Quailfer's (WON AT BASH) GOOD TIRES..
Back on the Mich 2ct's with a 190/55/17 Very happy with size change.

bought the bike end of april.. burning through my third rear as we speak. gonna need a fourth soon....

Put 8000 miles on the bike.???

:rofl:Almost lost count;rear-2 stock oem Bridgestones, 3 Shinko 003,1 M/T MCR, now running a Metzler DragTech which has proven to be a great tire. I havent made it to the strip yet, but based on the kind of traction I'm getting on the street, I'm going to change my lauch routine completely. It used to spin even thru the 2-3 shift-bet that might hurt, flipping at the 330 mark:shocked: oh yea, almost forgot-just under 8000:thumbsup:

I don't know how many but I can tell you that I was getting no more than 3,500 miles on a rear Dunlop 208 and Metzler Whatever the Model Made Just for Busas. I switched to Michelin PP's and was getting over 5,000, until this last one which I didn't track, but seemed to get less that 5,000. I put a new one on and recorded the mileage because I think Michelin changed the PP; it no longer seems to have that high crown and V shaped cross section.

7 or 8 rears.... maybe 4-5 fronts in 35k miles...yep these monsters EAT Black round things. Love Mich PP Ct2's. Bto-16.. 4k rear-- 5k front

lol.. i remember on my 04 busa, I had bought a set of corsas, and within 600 miles, i needed a new rear one.. no burn outs, just canyon riding.. I hope when i purchase the 09, im not gonna have that problem, or its gonna be expensive to ride her.
