How much metal is too much in the oil pan?

I ask because that TSB didn't come up in my searches originally only listing 08+ in the "affected models/yrs" Suzuki put on it.

i repeat it the 101st time :banghead:

the stud issue , described in service bulletin 199 , is not only at the ´08 & ´09
BUT
at all busa from ´99 to ´20 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the limiting to ´08 and ´09 is a damn nonsense and ignores all the "field" experiances.
so your clutch crash can happen at all of em !

only at the ´21 suzuki "learned" that the spring support stud needs the thread locker - visible at the new spare part 214181-24F32 WITH this orange locker at the outer thread
as "kojak" shows here in his shop .
but this stud is for only use at the gen2 and 3 - NOT at the gen1.

Could minor flywheel/stator contact be caused by the clutch issue I was having?

Are these trashed?

That was old msg, sorry. Concern now is only stator/flywheel damage. Is it minor and ok, or trashed?

i guess this broken lip at one "anchor" won´t cause any issues - it is only formed to keep the wires at their place

Also it seems to have been grinding on the flywheel. Maybe because of my previous issue with the clutch????

If you have concerns, replace it. They are inexpensive in the grand scheme of things. Plus you will have piece of mind knowing it’s new

Yep, not much worse than being left on the side of the road just to save a few bucks...

no manual available yet ?

then stop here with all your work and get it first as an absolutely necessary basis for all further work
then read it line by line at the "motor" part and follow those descriptions in the manual.

anything else would be sheer nonsense!

and for tech. questions - the motor itself of gen2 is nearly 99.5% built equal to gen1 - so even you have a gen2 you can use the manual´s part "motor" of the gen1 (and other way around).
the torques for instance, as far as i remember, are the same - but nobody can remember them all while assembling !
so a re-assembly without a manual is, in my opinion, utter madness !

watch the prescribed torques in the manual
and
it is imperative to observe the prescribed tightening sequence of the screws (´n nuts)

but !
the art.-no´s differ sometimes a bit in special parts !!!

so, if youre looking for numbers of spare parts, look at my page at
a. gen1 - microfiches
b. gen2 - microfiches
Links are down...?
Repost please

@tnarmyng

your reference to google drive in all honors
but I myself want to have as little to do with them as possible, let alone that I put in any information there and then maybe get massive stress because of a possible violation of copyrights - remember - NSA etc. is "greeting".
thanks for that crap.

lill correction and all-clear - caused by my experiances the last 3 , 4 weeks

they used the thread locker at the studs i guess from 2013 on (at least it seems so) .

i found it out
because at two 2013s i took out one stud and at both the stud had a (orange) thread locker on his outer thread .

so i suppose the danger of loosening studs and followed by that demolished / shattered / ruined clutches & transmissions should finally be prevented .

but my warning for the busas of ´99 - ´12 and their clutch studs persist for 100% !
