How old are you?? What was your first bike?

I'm 30, my first bike was a 79 Honda Z50. Then moved on to a 74 CB360, 82 CM250C, 82 Virago 750, 85 GS1150ES, 86 Ninja 600, 97 CBR1100XX, and finally my '03 Hayabusa--First one I've bought new. I guess that means I've been riding over 20 years.

47, 1st street bike I owned new was 1974 Suzuki GT750 aka "Water Buffalo". Currently on my second Busa, a new 03.

my first bike!!!  lambretta motor scooter with hardly any rear brake. cable accuated rear brake which came out of adjustment often, 305 honda, 500 triumph, xl175 honda, 1978 honda goldwing, 198? yamaha 650 turbo, honda v65 sabre, 1200 suzuki bandit, and now a well deserved 2003 silver/grey busa which is neater than heck. i started riding about 1964.

5th and most important...'02 'busa...finally I'm at the top of my ladder, it took me 3 years to climb it with a 9 month siesta in there between the 6R and the SV.  Whew!

01 polaris explorer 400 (4-wheeler)

then in march of 01 got my first street bike
01 honda sabre 1100 (just wasnt me) always wanted the busa
then finally last july I got my 03 busa

 

so time riding I dont really have any idea maybe 20 yrs?  

but time on the street is goin on 4 yrs.

Been around about forty years.First bike was a Suzuki MT50,lots of dirt bikes-TM's,RM's,DR 370,very loyal to Suzuki.First street bike,however was an RD 250.Several RD's and a couple Kaw triples and the odd KZ later,I wind up with a Busa and wonder why I wasted my time trying to make the previously mentioned bikes run,when all I had to do was wait a few decades and simply buy something fast.
