my 88 gxxr1100 with a 89 1127 cc was unbeatable on th 1/4 mile
Just as I suspected,
Most of us had really interesting bikes before we got our Busa.
Remember, we all love to see pics on this site, and if you have time, some detail on why you decided on the Busa.
Power seems to be the leading factor. Oh we are all so single minded!

From first to latest, GSX1100, Katana1100, Kawa Z1300(6cyl), CBR900RR, CBR1100XX, KDX650, CBX750, CBR1100XX, CBR954RR, '03 Busa.
After all these bikes, most purchaced new and trading after 1-2 years I've finally found a bike I have no urge to change, It's ME and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my first was a ninja 500....bought it cheap from a co-worker as a beginner bike..i know i know...the busa's my second bike so it was quite a jump to this one....my problem is im 5'6 160lbs and have a hard time finding a bike i can friggin sit on and touch the ground..lol.....i wanted a ducati750 or 999 but they were too tall, didnt think i could sit on a busa and when i did i was like "wow...gotta get this one". I didnt think the most comfortable and lower sitting bike of all my choices i was thinkin of buying just also happened to be the fastest !! schweeet a$$ !!!!
My first bike was a 2000 Katana 600, and then I get the 02 busa, and June of last year I got a 03 Gix 750. So it was time to get rid of the kat. Then I was down to 2 then some POS stole my 750. Still have the busa and don't plan on getting rid of it. I bought it because I wanted to dragrace and plus in my opinion it is the best looking bike!

I had a 1995 suzuki rf600 which I loved. I got rid of that to buy a 2001 shadow ace (got married and the wife wanted me to get a safer bike). After some cager almost hit me head on, I traded that to get my 02 busa.
After riding the busa there is no other bike that I would rather have. I'm 31, 6' and 210 lbs and this bike has been a perfect fit for me.. I actually bought it in November of 01. I only had the shadow for about 6 months and I hated it. I took the loss and traded it in and I am very glad I did!

This ol heap was faster than the average BUSA.
It was a 97 ZX-11 that had 1255CCs and 180.7 HP.
It went a 9.56 in the 1/4 mile.
It sure was FUN!
