How To Know If It's Time To Move On? Hayabusa.org

another idea would be... when there is a fight/argument.... the 2 parties involved meet at a boxing club anywhere... sign off to enter the ring to spar... then charge a fee to others to view the fight:)

Hey, Cap--I know life can hit you with big changes out of the blue. Believe me, I'm there now and have been for quite some time and I know you have to let go of some things when unforeseen stuff piles on you. I hope the best for you and whatever your personal situation is. Life will find a new normal if it doesn't go back totally to the old normal. In the meantime, consider appointing a small comity of members to run the site for you. I know I'm nobody here but you just check my post count over on ninjaforums. I'm Rook over there. If there is anything I can do to help keep this forum running, I'll do it. I spend a huge amount of time on this sort of thing already.

Forums come and then they go. It's happened to me once already. New forums sprung up with much the same information. I still would prefer to keep what has started going. If it is going to end, might I suggest we agree to keep our busa.org names and meet somewhere else? I know of no other forums dedicated to the Hayabusa but I'll keep Mythos as my name.

...pinned and flagged with emergency icons all over it.
Hopefully it ends up just being a off topic. So many holding out hope. It has been made public the org was not making money for a long long time. And has been here for a long time because of the love and commitment. And Cap thank you so much for what you have done. Hopefully the torch can be passed instead of put out.

the worst part is almost 20 years of content is gonna be lost.... type in ANY hayabusa problem in google or any search engine... and hayabusa.org will be there to help a person.... people need this site.... what can we do?

I LOVE THE IDEA OF THE SEARCHABLE FORMAT FOR MONEY... don't close this site please... ure making a terrible mistake I'm tellin ya... u do have to come up with other ways to generate money however... that's how business is.. sometimes one has to do whatever they have to do to stay afloat... but if a gen3 comes out... with a name like hayabusa.org... ull regret it forever.

ps... women in bikinis on bikes would help drive traffic also.... THAT WOULD HELP... there are no women anywhere here... sex sells... write that down...

Is it possible to package the content in some sort of searchable format and sell it to those of us who want a copy to keep next to our manuals? Possibly a little revenue shot to tie things up?

Arch the problem really is about size and function, the site takes up many gigs (well over 50) and there is so much code in the back end keeping things working I am not sure how a guy would make it happen one off, off line..

women in bikinis on bikes would help drive traffic also.... THAT WOULD HELP

Not good, I still get notices to this day from Google with warnings from pics that are posted that are "Suggestive, provocative or sexual" so if we want to stay being indexed by Google that stuff is a no go.

how about a hayabusa.org tee shirt?

We've done the shirt thing before but by the time you add in the cost of getting them made, shipping, and the time it takes to get it all together, sorted out, shipped there isn't a lot left over. Just more time trying to keep things going...

Well this is the saddest news I've heard in a long time.

I do understand because it was also very sad that I was the only one that showed up at Eureka Spring this past Spring.
That was almost as depressing as this news is.

I still like my Gen I and plan on keeping it - Since it runs so good (and looks good too) and it's like no other bike.

If/When this site goes down maybe, just maybe, it would send a message to Suzuki that they can't sit on past success forever before
they have no clientele left to sell product to, as we all move on sooner or later.

Captain.. have u tried different distributors/companies... I have a friend that used to be into that...also, soon.. we are all gonna need a good quality coat... any interest? I get that it buys time... but that may be all u need.... also... there is nothing wrong with a nice lookin female riding a busa either...

1busa... he aint gonna answer that on an open forum I don't think...the point is... I think we all would be willing to donate our time and any resources/contacts that we have to help this site,
