I love watches..

It's been fun, and I now know where to go should I ever need advice on a cycle. I may still be young enough to be the next "Eric Von Zipper". Of course if you don't remember him I guess I am too old.

I'll repeat myself, if anyone needs advice on buying a high end watch, especially a used one, feel free to post it (or the auction) on that particular brands forum for evaluation. There are alot of fakes out there. Many excellent ones are coming out of China, they are scarey. We've saved many people lots of $$$$$.

As to your hobby, you are doing the  right thing with your choice of wrist wear. I wish you all well, but should you take a slide better it be with a Casio or Citizen. Save the higher end watches for other times.
Thank you Sir. Enjoyed every post you made.

As of right now I have 12 watches. It changes a few times a month. Some were bought to use as trades at watch shows, some go back to my father in law when he is in need of them. As for the ones I am keeping

a 23 jewel Bulova
a Bulova Marine Star
a Zodiac. Not 100% sure but was told it is what the russian equivlant to a US Seal team wear. Really cool watch.
2 Tag's
a Citzen eco drive
and my Fossil blue.. I have found in 15 years of EMS that Fossil watches seem to hold up the best in the feild. And easiest to clean all the blood out if it gets on it lol..

Those are all wrist watches, have 5 pocket watches that I know verry little about othen then the FIL said they were pricey..

He owns a jewlery store in FL.

I have 2 fossil blue's and they both suffered band failures at 1 year old... And Fossil will not stand behind them.... shame to, I liked how they looked.. (just a bit too thick is all, used to my thin pulsars)

I'm glad to see I'm not the only watch freak on the board! Here is my collection nothing special, but I luv them all. What's cool about watches is each one has a little peice of your own lifes history behind it.

I was trying to be polite, I've been a guest in this forum and I thank you for the hospitality. Don't want to overstay the welcome.

I agree w/ the comment on the RGM watches, nice to see a company still making watches in this country. Took a nice tour of their web site. If you havn't done so go for it.

Breitling also has a great web site, for any who are interested:
