Exactly. He asked, and we all gave honest answers. If he gets screwed on the deal, he has nobody to blame but himself. He might be mad at the answer he got, but down the road he will wish he had listened to us.

+1 No deal! Look somewhere else, something is very wrong here.

cancel the deal. Thats what I would do, you can find a bike in better shape than that for less hassle and less money. You have to ask yourself how good a job they are going to do in fixing it if they don't even have the organizational skills needed to know what the bike needed before it was sellable.

10-4 what all the others said. I succumbed to the "I gotta have it" syndrome and bought a bike that had low miles, but had been rode hard and put away wet. Spent lots of money and time trying to get it right, and finally said, Screw it, I'm buying a Hayabusa that has been well cared for. There are many out there, and all I can say is check everything out before money changes hands. You'll be glad you did

You know even though most tried to steer him away... Best thing about this forum is People will still go out of their way to help him out on any problem he might have. So I do hope he hasn't vanished. Info here is limitless!

Come back! You asked! we told you! Do you wanna become part of a community where people just gonna lie or BS you? Busa owners generally take great pride in their ride more then other type bikes in a whole. Not saying people don't pride in other bikes. Busa is just a special kinda class all in its own.

So If you bought it and end up with a problem,don't hesitate asking for help. Honest help! honesty you asked for from the very beginning.

There are other sites in which most of the members here also belong to(myself included). This site by far has the most activity then the others. There is a reason for that....
