forget them find a new bike. The key should be the same as the ignition so either the ignotion was changed or the tank was so badly damaged they bought a new one to conceal a major drop. I would be hesitant especially when Busas are so abundant for that price check out the classified section here on the board. good luck
Yes, but Suzuki had an evil money making scheme going and decided to make more than one.Nothing could have stopped me from buying....once I made up my mind to go Busa! We all remember that feeling
Well, they finally called me. Sales rep was on lunch and didn't get the message I left. They said the bike was done this morning and is ready to go.
I'm going there in a few hours. If the bike runs anything but perfect.... I'm taking my money back. They jerked me around hard. I don't appreciate that. I might ask for gear compensation for jacking me up.
The service manager could tell that I was peeved.... On his own account, he said they have been swamped as of late with people getting tires/oil changes/new sales/used sales, etc. and are backed up beyond belief. Whatever.
I'll let the .org know of the outcome later on tonight.
The last time said something was in the post from 3-31-09 at 2:57 and he hasn't post againg. He most be riding his new fake busa cause he has not post anything else.
Like my mom use to say "A Hard Head Makes A Soft Azz"
I bought a 2005 with a rusted tank and chain. Dealer replaced both items, I have done two trackdays already. Not a problem during the high performance riding on trackdays. It had 1700 miles and was a 2005, so while it may sound like a bad idea it is possible to get a good running bike if a little attention is done to it.
