I'm guessing you've already picked up the bike by now as it's almost 7, but your experience sounds like your dealing with State 8. I wouldn't touch these guys with someone elses ten foot pole, let alone my own. If th deal falls through, I believe Liberty Harley had a Busa Trade-In they are trying to move.

Shop around especially Craigslist you will find a better deal.
I got my 06 LE last Sep for $6.9K and it only has 980 miles on it. Brand spanking new.

There is no way I would buy that bike, like others said chances are it was crashed badly. The tank is not from the correct even from the correct bike. My bet is the bike was wadded up then put back together with the smallest bit of $ and either wholesaled or traded for nothing.

The dealer is going to make big, big money on this bike if it goes for anything near a retail price.
