If you care about the future of the United States - please have a look

With Cap's approval, I am making this post. Thank you Cap for your support and understanding. I truly believe and hope this may be the beginning of something big for our country.

Over a period of the last few years, I've been writing a book, on and off, and finally finished it. I believe I figured out the root causes of why we the people of this country are having problem with our governments - the federal government as well as state, and local governments. I predict the inevitable crisis that's looming around the corner, and what's most important, I believe I figured out the way out of this mess. I am slowly starting to figure out how to promote my book.

I'd like to promote the book among members here on the board, and hoping to get a good traction because this topic is hot, and frankly no one has an answer which is practical, achievable, and would work for all people. I believe I do. My interest is more patriotic than financial, although I could use some income as I've been unemployed since February. Having lived close to half of my life in a socialistic country, I know what's coming, and I know it's not going to be pretty.

I will truly appreciate everyone who will read the book and spread the word to your family and friends. I will greatly appreciate any feedback and suggestions from you guys which may improve the book, reduce any possible inconsistencies, confusion, typoes, mistakes, etc. I am getting sick of reading and re-reading, and making fine changes. I already made a few small changes per feedback I got from some of my family and friends, but they are a bit biased in my favor.

To clarify, I am not affiliated with any political party, and there is not a single word in the book trying to swing anyone in any political direction. The book goes a lot deeper than politics.

I was curious to see what books in their respective categories were ahead of mine. So, in "Federal Government", it was: "President Barack Obama: The singles interview".

In "Political Science" category, those were: at some point, "The Constitution of the United States", and at another point "The Communist Manifesto". How ironic!!!

As phoenix rising from the ashes, this thread is getting a new life. With Cap's approval, I will simply be posting a new chapter every few days, or so. A few minutes of reading a day is manageable to most everyone. As with every book, we start with the cover.

The text on the back cover may be hard to read, therefore it is posted below the image.

I would also suggest to resize the window to make it more narrow - because it is easier to read a more narrow text, especially when there is a lot of it.

And of course, I greatly appreciate everyone's time - as time is the most treasured commodity we possess.

Governed. By the People? Not really.

Many of us feel that something is wrong with our federal, state, and local governments. Everyone seems to know what they should be doing and how they should be operating. No one knows how to get it done.

Many believe the right political party, or the right politician is the answer. Time and again, people learn the hard way that such approach does not provide a real solution. This leaves us frustrated and hopeless.

The answer lies in a deeper understanding of why this is happening to us, which in turn leads to a practical, incremental, achievable, and permanent solution most people would agree on – regardless of their political affiliation or financial status.

It is time for a change. Real change!

Interesting read.

Having worked and lived for a while in most parts of the world, excluding the former Soviet Union and now Russia, I believe history shows that all major powers/nations fall eventually with someone else taking over.

You have to live and work in the Middle East, to realize that "Kingdom" and "Authority" is respected so far beyond freedom and democracy, that there is no chance for successful freedom in the near future.

You have to work with Colleagues and visit them in Asia, as an American, to realize how proud they are to be in a high Management position and why it is by far the most important thing in their lives. It makes you understand why they are willing to work 7 days a week with almost no vacation. When you have 2,000 employees and your Asian colleague has 15,000, while you and each of your employees earn 7 times the salary or wages of your Asian colleagues, first you feel guilty, then you start wondering how long this is going to last?

You have to live and work in the USA by comparison, to realize how much of a privilege it is to be here. Then you have to figure out why there is reasonable respect and order in a large fortune 500 company, however in politics/government there is absolutely no respect for leadership and most of them are like a bunch of bananas. They are yellow, crooked and they hang together.

You have to live and work in Europe 15 years ago and then again last year to see and understand the decline for the worse and that they are on this path of reaching a crises way before the US. Cyprus, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Greece saved from bankruptcy, with Germany getting frustrated holding the candle. Then you wonder where the great standard of living in Germany 15 years ago went? It is gone!

Interesting times, can't help but feel for our young new generation.

Well said, jellyrug! And the worst is yet to come. The United States is a relatively young country, which, despite its lead in the world, is not immune to the same inevitable societal diseases other countries got infected with.

As humans, we try to adapt to whatever our circumstances are, no matter how bad they are. I would venture to say that most US born folks don't feel how fortunate they are being born and living in this great country. When I say "don't feel", I mean that logically people understand, but emotionally, like you said, one has to live through such experience in order to fully comprehend how the rest of the world lives, and how far behind they are by comparison.

Killing America Slowly

CHAPTER 1

MEET THE DEVIL

It doesn't happen often that I want to get my word out. I usually work in more subtle and devious ways. However, this time around there is a good reason for me to be honest about my evil intentions. I made a bet with God that I will succeed in destroying the United States of America as I will explain shortly, and as Almighty as he is, I've often found ways around his power of goodness, and I am sure I will succeed this time as well.

And why not? If history is any indication, I was successful in the past, and in so many ways. As I am looking back at how humans came about, tears fill my bloody eyes with evil joy. Hatred, struggle, oppression, wars, and death were my writings. Human lives were my ink, and I have written a lot.

I am misunderstood by people. They think that I, the Devil, should be eliminated, and only God should rule. You are so wrong! I will let you on a secret. God needs me more than you can imagine. It is only through challenges, suffering, and destruction which I create, human souls can gain deeper understanding about themselves and come to appreciate the goodness that God gives them. Without evil, no human would know what goodness is. God needs me in order for people to learn, understand, and appreciate that. He tries to maintain a fine balance between the goodness of God and the dark forces of evil. But I don't need God, and I will do everything in my power to deceive him, and turn this world into my evil empire.

I have to admit that despite my many successes, the power of good is still winning, but barely. Don't get me wrong, I have my bastions and followers on this tiny planet - the Middle East is full of conflicts sprinkled with blood, suffering, and death. African conflicts never end. Japan cannot get out of economic slump. Russia is getting stronger and is almost ready for another round of Cold War. Europe's financial troubles go on as planned, and the best is yet to come. On other fronts, not only did I succeed in getting nukes for North Korea, but I finally brought to power my beloved young and transformative North Korean leader, and I am really optimistic this will devastate the region while at the same time killing many of his own people. And finally, nuclear Iran - my favorite. Just a little longer, and the Middle East and maybe the entire world will be a pleasure to look at, and I will be able to celebrate my triumph.

But there is one place which really annoys me. There are still people who are not susceptible to my evil powers as much as I want them to be - it's the people of the United States of America. This relatively young country consists of people who are acutely aware of my existence, and have been actively resisting my most elaborate efforts. They treasure their freedom and are ready to fight for it, they respect God, they follow laws, they are resilient to outside forces, and they hate me, the Evil one, along with my evil empire. God challenged me that I would never be able to throw this country into chaos, and I accepted the challenge. I will bring my dark forces onto the people of the United States - the last bastion of God's goodness on this tiny planet.

Not only did I accept his challenge, but I also challenged God himself by introducing a truly devious twist. Not only will I destroy this country and its people, but I will let them know ahead of time how I will do that. My plan is so brilliantly evil that, despite their knowledge of it, there will be nothing they could do in order to prevent their own demise. I already noticed that my efforts has come to fruition. Increased government's influence, excessive taxation, growing national debt, reduction of individual freedoms, the great divide of this country, and overall frustration of people with their governments are some of the effects of my secret efforts.

I will execute my plan not by bringing outside evil forces onto the people - they are too strong and resilient for that. I will destroy them from within. They will not notice the process of self destruction until it is too late - because I will be doing it very gradually, and over a period of many years, and in such a way that new generations are born into the world which is a little bit more evil, but they perceive it as a new norm, and this allows me to make their world even more evil without them noticing it.

For many years, I have been raising and preparing my trusted agents empowered by my evil spirit. Let me introduce them to you:

They have been around for hundreds of years. They walk and live among people, and some of you may have seen them. But don't try to look up their ancient names. You will find nothing. They have been assigned Individual Tracking Numbers...I mean, Social Security Numbers, but you won't find them. I will reveal who they are later on. They are my evil agents whom I entrust to execute my plan and to spread my word of how I will kill America slowly.

So, let's begin...
