You are 100% correct on this statement, this board is not an accurate cross section of America. Think about what we have here. This board is devoted to Hayabusa enthusiasts. A motorcycle is a luxury item, we Hayabusa Owners (The Rich according to democrat standards) have to have jobs to pay for the busa, the mods, and the garages we keep them in. Therefore we will tend to vote for what is right as we are the ones paying for the welfare system, not receiving from it. We don't need a politician to look after us, we work for what we want.

When you bring in those who are very well off and seeking power and know what is best for the poor people (liberals) and those who could work but prefer to stay home and let the government send them a check (thugs) you get closer to a 50/50 split on the vote.

Wow! I didn't realize most of the members of this board made more than $250,000 per year. THAT is the only group that stands to lose anything if Obama gets in. I do pretty well, but I'm not even up to half of that amount of yearly income - so I'll be voting Democrat. Flame away, Republitards.

Obama along with his close advisors, Jeremiah Wright "God Damn America" as his spiritual advisor, Tony Rezko "Now facing federal prison time" as his financial advisor, Louis Faracon "I hate anything that's white" as his community organizer and last but not least the infamous Bill Aires "I didn't use enough explosives in the bombs I planted in america" as Secretary of State where he can actually take his knowledge of explosives and apply it to Radical Islam.

I actually voted for Obama in the primaries. I thought he was a real breath of fresh air. Until,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I learned about the close friends he surrounded himself with. Now, I think maybe Osama Bin Laden would make a better president.

I won't be voting for McCain/Palin but I will be voting against Obama/Biden!

I can do better than that. Come visit me, spend a couple weeks in IL, try to find a job here. Let me show you how much obama has done for his home state. If you really want to see how well the democrats run something look at IL. We have a Democrat Governor, Democrat majority in the house and senate both. We even have a very liberal supreme court. Both US Senators, **** Durbin and Obama are democrats as well. I'll tell you straight up, this state is bankrupt. They have even raided all the pension funds they could get their hands on. They have drove industry and jobs out of the state. If you want to know the real obama, look up Tony Rezko and search for his ties to obama. While at it read up on Rezko and Governor Rod Blagojevich and any ties to obama. Corrupt as corrupt can get and you guys want to elect him president??

As a LEO the IL supreme court says if I stop a carload of gangbangers for a headlight out I can't ask the passenger for an ID. I can't ask to search the car unless I have a reason to. Obama himself backed a bill where LEOs have to complete a traffic stop data sheet to record what race the driver of the car was, if a search was conducted, if anyone was arrested and how long the stop took. Since this was put into place several years ago traffic stops have declined sharply. Not because there was wrong doing or profiling but because the officers hate filling out the paper work that goes with them. It's just a small example of how Obama will add more red tape and burden on everyone. His intentions may have been good but the result has been failure.

Obama didn't cause that paperwork issue,past officers wrong doings caused that issue to be brought into play...What you gonna blame on obama next?

Honestly, his skin color has never once been an issue for me. and anyone and everyone I have ever discussed this has NEVER made an racial comments towards the man, the issues have allways been lack of experiance and sometimes the possible Muslim ties (which I know are disputed and I dont believe them either) but I have NEVER personally hear anyone make any racially derogatory comments towards him.

All of the people making these racial excuses really need to give it a rest. I honestly from my experiance do not think skin color has anything to do with this.

I think it is lack of experience that will bite him. Three (3) years in office and cam paining for two (2) of them. Add to that one of the most Liberal Senators in office with a voting record to prove it albeit a small record.

I think CTA's point was, Obama was in a position to make real "Change" at the state level but made no effort to do so. If that's the case, why should we believe him now when he decribes himself as the vehicle for "Change"?
